This is what I've been working on for years now. I looked at the portal that will transport me to [The End]. I've spent countless years, countless resources... and plenty of friends to reach this point. If not for their final wishes, I would've given up on this quest.

The [Guardians of the End]... countless top tier people were killed by this monster. No one has escaped from it before, except for me.

"Hey... don't you die now" Elena said with a smile as blood trickled down her mouth. Five years ago. Five years ago was when I lost Elena to this son of a bitch. I gritted my teeth. I've finally found a way to kill you, guardian.

{Chaotic Shield of the Apocalypse}! I cried as a neon black barrier surrounded me. With my battle cry, the Guardian noticed me and gave me a look. We were not enemies yet. Not until I cross the line.

It gets stronger the more souls that were in there, and that why I was alone. I chanted a series of basic elemental attacks {Fire Bolt} {Water Blast} {Earth lift} {Metal Shower} {Leaf Drain}, and enchanted them with both holy and cursed artifacts. Basic elements are the absolute best for enchantments, they bring out the pure power of the enchantments because of their simplicity.

I enchanted the attacks perfectly until they were filled with the infinite power of the Yin Yang. I muttered under my breath "you're dead now". Finally, I summoned my Familiar... Elena.

I couldn't let her go. Her dead body filled and controlled by the Supreme Fairy of the Springs. After Elena broken the contract of the end, she shoved me outside as I passed out. When I woke up, all I saw was her dead corpse, hugging we with a smile and a large bloody gash on her back as she protected me in her final moments. I smiled bitterly

"Hey... don't look at me like that. You promised me that you and I would go through the end together". Because now Elena's dead body isn't counted as a person, it was possessed by a fairy. Elena's soul is already gone. The fairy looked at me quizzically. I quickly added "don't mind me, I was just talking to myself".

I touched the 『contract』blocking me from the guardian. I spoke aloud " I, Takai Naoko, hereby challenge the [Guardian of the End] to a fight to the death" I ready my spells. A second later, the Guardian came stomping towards me, using chaos magic. He attacked my barrier, but to no avail. After attacking, it formed a confused and horrified expression as i looked into it's pitch black body. I savored every moment of it.

"Shocked huh? I forged this barrier out of millions of your kind's soul!" I yelled at the Guardian. The guardian is a chaos monster. There is only one mother of the billions around the world, and I suspect the guardian is the mother. "How does it feel? Millions of your children died by my hands!"

I unleashed my combined Yin Yang attacks, taking a chunk of the guardian's chest. It howled in pain as it tried to crush my barrier. I spat out blood from my mouth. "The chaotic energy is getting into my body. This isn't good. I'm gonna have to completely focus on the barrier for now-"

I tripped. After years of planning, a pebble is what made me fail. I fell on my back, with the barrier deactivated. Elena tried to attack the chaos monster but the difference in power was obvious. As a familiar, the Supreme Fairy's power is cut to a quarter, and even if she was here by herself there was no way to beat the Guardian. I barely had mana in my body. I sighed and knew what to do.

Thankfully, Elena was being ignored because of her not being a soul. I smiled weakly "Oi, supreme fairy". She gave me the look that says what do you want now? "I know I forced you into her body but ...". I undid the 『contract』 between me and the fairy. "I'm sorry about that, but let's get you out of here alive, no?" The guardian would target the fairy after I died.

I morphed a hole in the 『contract』and chanted "those without a soul shall be expelled from this holy agreement". Elena's body was forcibly thrown out with her face look bewildered. I gave her once last good look with a smile, before I was stabbed by a spear formed of darkness. My vision blurred with red as I see nothing... as my vision fades to nothing.

Suddenly I woke up in a bed. I sat there and questioned... "is this heaven?" As I heard my mom yelling "get up! Your breakfast is ready!" I opened my door and walked downstairs. I saw my mom wearing a apron, with a angry face that says "you're late". A tear fell down my face. I clasped my hands around my face. It was soft. I whispered to myself,

"What kind of sick joke is this?" My mother's face softened and asked "what's wrong honey?". "I'm fine," I replied wiping away my tears. I've returned 15 years to the past.
