Calla's POV
My whole body felt sore. I was tired even though it seemed like I've been sleeping for a hundred years.
All the previous happenings from before I fainted now gradually came back to me, like raindrops slowly beginning to pour, and then it transformed into a storm of sudden realizations.
My eyes opened instantly and I attempted to rise, eventually dropping into a hard blow onto a very uncomfortable pillow. It was as if my head got hit by something hard that drilled holes into my brain, pricking it with horrible sharp stings—just because of one movement.
I let out moans of anguish as I squirmed and clasped my head, feeling like wanting to cry and scream altogether. What happened to me? My whole body seemed like it was being wrapped in poison-dipped thorns that tighten the more I try to move.
Someone let out noises of irritation from my side. "Goddess, Calla, why did you have to stand right away? You're so stupid, do you know that?"
