He sighed, "I'm sorry Karma you are not a biological match at all."
"What do you mean I am not a biological match? I look like a combination of both of my parents. When I look in the mirror I see a reflection of both my parents."
"Karma, your eyes tell you what your mind wants to see," Doctor Palmer replied. "I have already spoken to your mother and she said she would be giving you a call."
The phone went silent for a while on both ends until Doctor Palmer told her goodbye and released the call.
Her fingers trembled as she dialled her mother's number and waited for the call to be answered, but instead it went to voice mail.
"Mummy can you call me back urgently please."
She sat in her chair with her mind racing, Nickolas knocked on the door and he heard her feeble response.
