CRASH!
My eyes startled open, my body promptly ricocheting up as a sigh escaped my parched lips. Quickly noticing my small, black, alarm clock, now residing in a heap upon my floor, I start to heave myself up off my bed.
"I should probably get ready for school, mom would kick my ass if I'm not ready soon."
Sliding open the door to my wardrobe, I grabbed my uniform that I'd only just started getting used to.
"Hopefully this is the last uniform that I'll have to wear this year, moving school absolutely sucks."
I slipped my toned arms into the shirt and quickly buttoned it up, fixing my tie around my neck and threw on my blazer and began to make my way downstairs.
I swung open my door, swiftly catching it just before the hinges could show any signs of weakness. I started to descend the stairs, the pictures of mom and her awards catching my eye. The pictures were almost laughing at my lack of power, but I got used to that a long time ago. I kept walking, smiling at all my mom's accomplishments, barely entertaining the thought that it could be me in one of those pictures. I was abruptly cut off as a voice echoed from downstairs, stopping me in my tracks.
"Amon?"
