"Sanara, is mom not really going to come back home?"
"Where did you hear that?"
She fidgets with her fingers. "People are talking. They say that mommy is never going to come back home anymore."
Where am I? This place is huge, almost like a mansion; but I am sure that this is the first time I have seen this house. There is a little girl in front of me, who I think is Heaven, the other girl that recently appeared in my dreams. Did she appear today because I had seen that newspaper that Diego showed me?
"Listen carefully to what I'm going to say, Heaven. Whatever happens, I will be here for you. I will never leave you, okay?"
It is a promise. Did I really make a promise like that with her, and why don't I remember it? Were my memories from my early childhood really erased? But this is such an important thing; how could I forget it?
