"Way to go, you may now go home." You applauded your tiny dancing pupils, the children. When they hear you call the dance class to a close, they dash to fetch their tiny bags, grins on their cheeks.
With a little smile on your lips, you shook your head. You were going to turn off the enormous Bluetooth box where your phone was charging when you felt a hand tuck your oversized t-shirt.
"Miss Jena, the boys are blocking the way again," Vivi said, unintentionally giving you her puppy dog looks. Vivi is most likely one of your favorite students. Despite the fact that you adore all of your pupils, Vivi unintentionally captured your heart with her little stature, huge wide eyes, and pouty lips.
When you turned to face the door, you saw three morons trapped in front of it, refusing to back up and demanding to be the first to go. You sighed and walked away, intending to ensure that they were the last to depart. Your phone, however, vibrated and stopped you.
"Jena I won't be home until 1 a.m. today, so stay safe and eat something." ....again.
Vivi, who tucked your t-shirt in again, jolted you out of your funk. You're enraged at your aunt for working all the time so she wouldn't be lonely. Her husband left her and her kid for a wealthier lady, and your aunt quickly became a workaholic, never stopping working.
You despise seeing her unhappy, she works until she passes out in her bed, still wearing her clothes, and then repeats the cycle. She wasn't like that before, and you despise the way she's transformed as a result of an unworthy Mann. He was a poor husband and father from the start, but she was blind and ignored the signs.
You took Vivis' little hand in yours and murmured, "Coming." You smiled as you realized how delicate and little her hand is...
You opted to remain after sending the kids home since you didn't want to be alone at home, so you danced like no one was looking. You were grateful to have gotten this work, and you didn't mind if your aunt didn't like it. The room is fairly large, and the large mirrors were your favourite part.
After an hour and a half, the sun that had once shined had vanished, and darkness had taken its place. The first thing that sprang to mind was how sweaty you were and how unpleasant it felt. Even if you brought a clean clothing with you, a warm shower might be helpful.
You departed with the keys in your jacket after closing all the windows and doors. The owner of the dancing class is an elderly woman who has danced her entire life and never stopped. When she could no longer stand on her own, she started a dance studio where children of all ages were trained to dance to various types of music. The woman is someone you admire.
You've struggled to communicate with others from childhood and would only utter a few words; dancing helped you overcome your fear of speaking. Therapy didn't assist you much, although it helped lower your concerns a bit. It didn't help you much with the talking aspect.
As the chilly air blew through you, you tightened your jacket around your torso. You breathed deeply and soon exhaled. Fortunately, your home was just 15 minutes away from the dancing studio.
You couldn't wait to get into the shower as your travel grew shorter. The night had a deeper hue to it than normal. You gazed up to see the brightly glittering stars in the sky. After staring at them for a while, your gaze was drawn to a person standing on the rooftop of a building.
When you took a closer look at the building, you realized it was your flat, which you share with your aunt. You rush to the stairs, without caring to wait for the elevator, in a frightened mood. All you could think about was the person attempting suicide above you. Your legs were already running quicker just thinking about it.
You didn't stop until you reached the entrance to the rooftop outdoors, even though you were out of breath. You yanked on it, relieved that it was unlocked.
"Stop, please don't jump," you cried, hoping he heard you. The guy got startled a little, and you took advantage of his hesitation by running towards him and pulling him down. Relieved that he was no longer in danger, you succumbed to tiredness and let your legs fall to the ground. For a few moments, all that could be heard was the sound of your heavy breathing.
Your heart was pounding and your ears were ringing. Only your hard breathing could be heard during the few seconds of stillness. The shock had yet to wear off, and you were at a loss for words other than relief. You chose to peek at him just to see him throwing daggers at you while also wearing a dumbstruck expression...if that's possible.
Despite the harsh glare, you couldn't help but notice him for the first time since you didn't have time to when you shoved him down before he could jump. The wind was blowing and the moon shined brightly, illuminating his already wonderful features and making him much more stunning minus the glare you received.
You decided to break the awkward silence by asking, in a quiet voice but loud enough for him to hear you, "You alright?" Of all the things you expected him to say, he asked a question that made you wonder if he belonged in the asylum, ran away, and got lost.
" You can see me?"
You wanted to laugh at how serious he asked and appeared, but you pushed it back since you didn't want to provoke him because if he was an asylum patient, you're in big danger. It took you a time to respond to him while trying to be as quiet as possible before pulling out your phone and calling the cops if he is indeed insane and lost. " Yes, I see you? " It came across as more of a question than an answer.
He appeared much more perplexed than before. He averted his gaze, as if deep in thoughts, you carefully backed away as quietly as possible.
He immediately froze and began to curse loudly enough for you to hear while looking around in an agitated manner "This cannot be happening. Fuck this wasnt supposed happen. Shit fuck fuc- ." He abruptly came to a halt and stared you in the eyes as if he was about to slaughter you. That's when you realized you'd gotten yourself into more trouble than you intended for and bolted for the exit.
You hadn't even taken five strides when he appeared in front of you, scaring the crap out of you. But how, he was so far away from you, how was he so fast that's not even possible? Perhaps you imagined it because you were so exhausted. His glare became more intense, and you prepared to flee in the opposite direction and call the cops right away. It wasn't a great strategy, but at the very least you tried.
You didn't even take two steps when he appeared in front of you, causing you to panic. "Don't even consider it. The cops will not be able to help you, so put your phone away before I shatter it:" He seemed irritated. You ignored him and pressed the call button because you were dumb. But you didn't even get to place it on your ear when a strong force like wind pulled it away, leaving it hanging in mid-air high enough that you couldn't grab it.
Your eyes widened as you stared at your phone, which was flying through the air...
It has to be a dream, this has to be a dream.
"Look, we don't have time, they're approaching, so either you come quietly or I have to use force." Is he insane? Why would you deliberately go with someone who threatens you? No one in their right mind would willingly accompany him.
This was your one and only chance. " OMG LOOK " he didn't look, but you didn't care and dashed for the door.
You didn't even take a stride when a hand slid around your waist, pressing you into his chest and gripping you tightly. When you felt his breath close your ear, all hope was lost. He whispered, "I guess I'll have to use force then." As you strained in his grip, trying to get free, you could feel the terror increasing, making it difficult to breathe.
You may have heard voices coming up the stairs you had used out of nowhere. "Damn it," says the guy, referring to the situation He placed his hand over your mouth just as you were about to cry for aid, as if he knew what you were gonna do.
"When I find him, I'm going to fucking murder him-" you couldn't hear their voices since the guy managed to push you to move into hiding with him far enough away from the entrance. The last thing you noticed was the door closing silently on its own.
Hope was reawakening, causing you to fight even harder. He didn't seem to mind and forced you to turn around and face him. Just as you heard the door open, he shoved you against the wall, one hand over your lips and the other around your waist, while peering out the side with a serious expression on his face. You continued to make noises in the hopes that the people would hear you, but you came to a halt when he turned to face you.
The astonishment you felt when you saw his brown eyes become a vivid shade of crimson couldn't be explained, it rendered you speechless.
