It was around ten in the morning when I reached my mom's place along with the necessity that I would need. I knocked at the door. Mom opened the door for me. GM was already here all packed up. I saw dad pulling out a trolley out of thier bedroom. And mom checking all the doors and stuff. I hugged my dad as he smiled down on me.
"So, are you ready?" I asked him.
"For what?" He asked.
"To meet his parents" I said.
"Think so" he said smiling.
Our flight was around seven in the evening. My parents and I were planning to stay at my grandparent's for some time since we were going to Tokyo after so many years all together. We asked GM to stay along with us but she denied cause she had to come back to work immediately as there was a fashion show coming up. We packed all our belongings had a last once more confirmation before we left the house.
It wasaround five in the evening when we headed out from mom's place. After an hour's drive we arrived at ###### and were ready to board the plane to Tokyo. We took our seats on the plane. I was seated next to the window along with GM next to me. My mom and dad were on the seat across us sitting next to each. It was a calm flight as my dad booked our tickets in the business class.
We arrived at Narita international airport in a hitch. After going through customs and immigration, we gathered our luggage as we headed out the airport.
"Is someone coming to pick us" my mom asked.
"Ya. He told me he would come" I said.
"Then let's wait for him outside" GM said.
I nodded in reply. I slide out my cellphones from my back pocket as I switched off the airplane mode. I scrolled through my inbox for message but there was none. I decided to call him. I dialed his number.
"Hey have you landed" he asked.
"Ya" I answered.
"I am just about to reach" he said. "Wait for few minutes. I got stuck in traffic" he added.
"Its ok" I said as I disconnected the call.
Once we were out I spot Zen coming out of a car. He looked up from his cell phone I guessed was dialing me. My phone rang. I connected the call saying hello.
"Hey. I just reached. Can you see me?" He asked.
"Ya. I can see you" I said.
As soon as I said he searched for me. He swayed his eyes to look for me from side to side.
"Here" I waved my hand at him. He saw me waving as he walked towards us. With long strides he came rushing to us.
" I am sorry for the wait" he said catching his breath.
"Its ok. We just arrived" my mom said.
"Hello. Mr. Salvador and Mother-in-law" he said smiling. "Hello Miss. Pierce " he added looking ar her.
"How was your trip" he immediately asked.
"It was fine" my dad said.
"You are gonna keep us standing here?", my dad said.
"Of course not Mr. Salvador. This way please" he said leading us. He took the sliding trolley from GM and my dad as he led further towards his car.
"I brought two cars. Please make yourself comfortable" he said gesturing towards the vehicles.
"You both go in that car" my mom said. " we will be in this one" saying my mom settled herself into the car.
As the driver took our luggage and set them into the bonnets. Dad, mom nad GM was in another car whereas me and Zen in another. He opened the door for me to enter as he closed the door behind me walking to the other side and getting himself settled in.
As soon as he was inside he pulled me in th o a hug.
"I missed you" he said.
"I missed you too" I replied.
We parted as he placed a soft kiss on my lips as he told the drive away.
After almost driving through the whole city we reached to a very secluded estate. I wish I could see but it was dark even with the streets light beaming on every corner of the estate.
"Where are we?" I asked. "This doesn't look like Ryeo's place".
"Of course it's not" he said.
"Then it's yours I guess" I said.
He smiled ignoring my question. We drove around for about fifteen minutes before reaching to villa. The exterior of it totally looked like palace with all the luxuries. There was fountain confront of the villa almost same as the one in Ryeo's. But it had a different style. It almost had the feel of the Roman sculpture you would find in Italy. As soon as I stepped out the car. The car in which my parents were, came striding in to the driveway behind the car I came in. The stepped out same as me enjoying the view of the sophisticated looking villa. Zen asked the driver to get our luggage and send to the rooms allotted to us.
Zen walked to us as he said smiling"welcome to my humble abode".
I smiled back at him.
"This way please" he said leading the way in to o the house.
Once at the door I could see his whole family eagerly waiting for us. As we walked in Zen started with the introduction, introducing each and everyone to each other. My parents went to chat with thier generations as Zen's sister came striding to me.
"Introduce me th o her" she said eyeing to GM.
"GM this Erina, Zen's sister. She is a big fan of yours" I said to her introducing Erina.
They began chatting I was left alone standing there. After few seconds I saw Ryeo coming to me.
"Hey" he said.
"Hey. What's up?" I said giving him a hug.
"Nothing much" he said. "And you"
"Me too. Nothing much" I said giving him a smile.
"By the way what is it about this party" I asked.
"Oh it's just a family tradition of welcoming spring" he said.
"Ok. Who all are invited?" I asked.
"Basically every high born" he said. "When were kids we used to invite the people around the neighbourhood. But we stopped doing that after once someone tried to kidnap me and Zen" he added.
"Really?" I said in utter shock.
"Zen didn't tell you" he asked.
"No. And I guess it never came up" I said smiling to him. He smiled back at me.
"By the way you must be tired from all that jet lag. Why don't you go take some rest" he said.
I nodded in reply.i walked to where Zen was sitting all with the older generations. GM and Erina joined us after few minutes.
"Oka-San, Oto-San they must be tired from the flight. Let them freshen up before the dinner is served" Zen said smiling at them.
Zen's parents smiled ad they called out Erza-San to lead us to our rooms.
We all got ty our allotted rooms got freshened up before heading out for dinner.
After the dinner was done we all were seated in the living room chatting. My parents and his talking about me and Zen. Making me feel nervous as well as excited at the idea of them talking about our future.
We a chatted for some more time and then we all headed to our rooms to have a deep slumber sleep.
Next morning I woke up to the birds chirping outside my room on the balcony. I was excited to see the view as I couldn't make out anything last night. I quickly got out of my bed excited as I opened the glass sliding door that led to the balcony. I walked out th o see the most amazing surroundings. It almost felt the same feel as that of Ryeo's mansion with all the cherry blossoms lined up along the path. The difference was that it contained a beautiful natural springs flowing through the garden with flowers on both the side with a curved bridge over the stream. A little further I could see hills, traditional Japanese buildings on. It was almost like the whole estate was on a small hill and if you look further you could see the town below it.
I was enjoying the view when my door clicked open as I saw Erza-San coming in with a tar with a teapot and cups. She placed the tray on the ta bl le as she walked out. I again indulged into the view.
Suddenly an arm hugged me from behind. I tried to turn around but i couldn't.
"Good morning beautiful" Zen said.
"Morning handsome" I said.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Why? You don't want me to come in here or what?" He asked.
"No. I didn't mean that" I said.
"Then what did you mean?" he asked.
"What if someone sees you in here in the early morning" I said. "They may misunderstand us" I added.
"And what would they misunderstand?" He asked grinning.
"That thier crown prince couldn't stay away from his beloved for not even a night" I said chuckling.
"Are you sure they would think that way?" He said with a grin.
"Ya. Why is there something else to misunderstood" I asked confused.
"No they may think we spent the night together doing things" he said with a crooked smile.
"Shut up" I said blushing.
"Now go before anyone sees us" I said.
"No I don't want to" he said sulking.
"Zen someone will see us and think oddly" I said trying to push him away.
"Let them think. By the way it's the truth you know" he said. " I missed you a lot Haru" he added placing a kiss on the side of my neck.
"Love you too" I said turning around.
"By the way what are you planning on doing today before the party" he asked.
"Don't know my parents and GM are planning on going to grandpa's place so I was thinking maybe go sight seeing" I answered as I headed to the table to brew tea for both of us.
"I think I can help you with that?" He said.
"I'd love that" I said.
After having the cup of tea he headed out my room. I decided to get freshen up before going out. I went into the bathroom as I took a shower and got changed into a Jean's and tees along with a cardigan as the breeze here seems to be cold.
I headed out through the stairs into the living room. I saw mom dad and GM already ready to leave.
"Ana are you sure you don't wanna come?" my mom asked.
"No ma. Anyhow I'll be seeing them tonight" I said. "So just go. It will be nice for both of you" I said smiling at my dad.
After they left me and Zen had our breakfast as we also headed out .
