Unfortunately, Izzy could not get a good night's sleep. She kept twisting and turning on the bed.
"I wonder if you'd fight me right this minute if I decided to steal a kiss? Or would you poker up like a marble cold statue and let me do my worst?"
Those words kept ringing in her head. The way she felt when he put his hands on the small of his back. The way he occasionally gazed at her and smiled. The thought that if she had stayed in the car something might have happened couldn't leave her mind. She didn't realize how much she missed his touch until tonight.
She stood up from her bed and picked up a pen, she might as well write if she couldn't sleep. She wrote until she fell asleep on the book she was writing on.
The next morning Izzy woke up, her neck hurt a little from the position she had fallen asleep in. She showered and got ready to go to her job.
