Chapter 13 - Chapter 11

I wake up in a sweat as i notice joy isn't with me. I get out of bed with a flashlight and go around the prison. It didn't look like this yesterday I thought to myself. It looks abandoned and there is not a single sound. I go outside to the gate to find it knocked down with nobody in sight. I look at the wall as I notice a note in black paint saying, "Yuki if you see this you are alive. We left after an attack from a mix of people and zombies. We went north. Go to Kai's quarters and grab the armour we left and the guns and ammo as well as the food, compass and the knife. We hope you see this before anyone else. If you do you will find everything there. Head north towards the mountains we should be there. if not we will leave another message. -Joy and Zhao" I go to Kai's quarters to find everything in his closet. I put on the armour and grab the backpack with all the equipment. I load my guns and begin to head north. I head back towards Mr.Chang's house to grab more wooden spikes and get more dry food. I head North and pass by the highschool. I went into the woods and use the compass and flashlight to head north. I make it about 15 miles before daylight. I walk through a city gunning down several zombies as I see a sign that says, "Yuki, head towards the arrows" I look and there is an arrow. I follow that arrow to another that eventually leads to a hospital. It has lights on I think to myself. I head inside to see Zhao on the ground barely breathing. I help him by doing hands only CPR. He starts to breath better and wakes up looking at me in astonishment. I fall backwards and pass out from exhaustion. I wake up in a room seeing nobody around. I then here someone say, "Wake up soldier!" I sit up and look at a man In all camo. He looks like an american soldier. I look at him and get out of bed. He throws me a full pile of clothing and boots. An American Army uniform. I put it on and walk out of the room I woke up in only to find a very beautiful place. I was in America but, It was a large area with no zombies. It looked like it hadn't been touched. It was like heaven but on Earth. I asked the man who was there when i woke up, "How big is this non zombie infected area?" He looked at me and said, "The United States hasn't gotten any infected yet so the whole U.S. Is safe. Apparently you have to get bitten to turn." I look at him as he waves me back to the room I woke up in. "Rest some more." He said as he walked out. No Zombies I thought to myself. I could get used to that. I fall asleep as fast as I woke up.
