A week later...
Lexi and I are closer friends than our recent friendship. And Stephanie lost her club because of what she did to me and she actually just stole the club from a student that no one knew existed except for Ms. Lily, our school program head. Lexi helped me become a great leader, but 2 days already passed and no one wants to sign up. Lexi isn't counted, of course, 'cause she's my assistant. But what am I supposed to do? Force them? That will just make me look like a bully and I might even lose my club, then no one will accept me anymore. I don't have friends except for Lexi, but she is a busy girl. I don't know why but I respect her secrets so I didn't ask. I have to think of a way to make students join my club before the first month pass, I mean it's only a month before all clubs are sealed from accepting members. And it's only 3 days away before July! If you are thinking that a month is too short for all of my recent adventures, nope. First day of school, 3 days to prepare for Talent Show, the Talent Show, Saturday and Sunday, 1 week of free school days, 1 week of preparation for meh club, and the 2 days of no one signing up. You got that? (Write in the comment section :)
*Sigh* I really wish Lexi was the leader. She knows more about leadership than me. But I will NEVER regret having MY own club. It's like the best thing that's ever happened to me, but I'll admit it is NOT easy being a leader, especially if you need to think how to make employees! But...
I know exactly how to catch someone's attention. SINGING TIME!
I called Lexi and whispered everything about my plan. She liked it and she agreed. *puts on shades* 😎 Time to rock & roll.
"EVERYONE! May I have your attention please?" Lexi called. So far, she caught many attentions.
"The Star's Club decided to make a fundraising event. Alyssa Welles, the Star's Club Group Leader, will sing us ALL of the ten songs you will suggest, and the judges will be you. So if she manages to sing all ten songs in a minute, you will promise to sign up for our club. This fundraising event, we shall call it The FundraiSing Event."
Many of them agreed that it was for a good cause and understood that we really need some club members. It looked like almost ALL of them agreed to accept the charity. BUT... just because I said that Stephanie lost her club DOESN'T mean she was already expelled. Of course, she still studies at the same school like before and the same school I'm in. And since I am the cause of her loss, there is a 99.9% that she is planning some kind of revenge, or waiting for the right moment to embarrass me in front of EVERYBODY. I mean, it COULD happen.
Well, it happened.
"Excuse me. I'VE got something to say." Stephanie said in a making-me-worried way.
"Well, everybody knows about this so-called Star's Club and Alyssa Welles, but what IS the meaning of this so-called club? The meaning cannot be really found in the name like History Club or Mathematics Club. I mean, when someone says that, you know exactly what type of club it is. Sure, the name can be very creative, but is that really legal? There's no such thing as a "Star's Club". Am I right?"
Gosh, she can be REALLY intimidating. She just ruined my fundraising event! Ahem, I mean, my FundraiSing Event! She isn't like that before...
But maybe she's just mad after losing her one and only club. Maybe that means so much for her. Well, she still can't be that evil. She can just talk it out to me, and not acting like a person who just lost some gold or something priceless! Well, time to stand up and protect my club.
"Well miss, our club isn't just some kind of normal club. The purpose of my club is very important and it isn't based on any subjects. The principal HERSELF, approved my idea for having a club that will teach many students how to get motivated and reach their highest dreams. We will have many meetings and share our experiences and how we got inspired to be the person that we want to be. And I will also share my experiences of why I want to become a singer and we will share our suggestions to each other to how we can reach our dreams. Many people needs motivations so that they can reach their goals. Am I right?"
EEEEE! It feels GOOD to say that " Am I right?" part. Well, there is more excitement than that.
" Ummm... excuse me." someone raised her hand. " I think miss Alyssa's got a point. I always ask my sister to comfort me but she never really does, that's why I get mad at her and gets her in trouble. But it never does help me get motivated, just satisfied that I get my revenge to her." It was Louise, Lexi's naughty sister!
"Ummm, yeah. She's got a point. I want to become an engineer but everyone just says it's hard. I think having that kind of club IS important."
"Yeah, I agree."
" Me too!"
" I do want some motivation."
I was so happy that even if the fundraising event didn't happen, a lot of them still want to be a member of my club. And of course, Stephanie walked out away, filed with annoyance and failure with failing my event. I'll admit, there is one moral we learned from this chapter, and that is...
