Lucian stood up from his large bed covered in satin and silk material and wore his silk robe that hung firmly at his side as he granted permission for Elliot to step into his bed chambers. It was barely dawn but there was so much a King had to do.
Roughly a week ago, a report from the head constable at Sareweth arrived at the castle stating that several magistrates across Sareweth have reported multiple witches practicing magic that has not been accounted for.
In response, Lucian revoked the right to practice magic in Sareweth for the time being and passed on the order that anyone seen practicing magic will be executed. In the constable's report, he spoke of two witches in particular who were caught first handed and Lucian thought it befitting to make an example out of them.
