"Brother!" Lord Killian had just walked out of the meeting room and turned around to see his sister approach him in a hurry.
"What is it Victoria?" Without waiting for his sister to catch up, he began to walk towards the court's entrance.
Victoria picked up her dress and jogged to catch up with Killian, "Did father promise a marriage to one of the viscount's sons?" Although she sent her father a letter, it would be some time before she would get a response from him.
"Yes, now what is the issue?" Killian was quite busy welcoming guests that were arriving now for the ball tomorrow and his sister's constant pestering was not something he currently wished to deal with.
