NARRATOR'S POV
The midday sun shines brightly in the sky, while the warm summer breeze sends comfort to one's skin. Inside the mansion, the visitor was long gone. Enthusiastically Brennan left with the information about the hunter Alexander knew. Taking the path that leads to a new adventure, his in search of a person who can guide him.
Alexander sat beside Rachelle as she cleans his wounds. Gentle hands carefully bandaging the wound.
"I told you, this is not necessary Rachelle" Alexander stated for the nth time.
"It will heal anyway" he reasoned.
"I know but I can't just let you be" Rachelle furrowed her brows.
"Also" without a warning, the young woman pinched Alexander's right ear while tugging it lightly.
"You need to stop using yourself as a human shield" she scolded. "You keep on putting yourself in danger just because you're immortal" she added tugging his ear a little harder.
