Chapter 58 - HEAVY JUDGEMENT

NARRATOR'S POV

"Of course your honor" Alfred stood up and with a nod- he begins questioning Rachelle.

Alfred McArthur used to be a simple young man- in his early years he believed in justice and heroes. He was almost like a child truly- dreaming of becoming a knight that will serve the kingdom and the king while going on great adventures in foreign lands and battlefields.

However, that was the sprout of young- the dream of a child untainted by the outside world and cruel reality. To this day Alfred had change he- no longer dream of glory and adventure nor does he know justice and kindness. He now only recognizes power and money, the only thing that could get a person through this hellish world.

It was unfortunate to see innocence go, leaving a person- vanishing without a trace, like the fires of a candle of the night.

Gone in a single blow of the wind.

Disappearing without a hint.
