NARRATOR'S POV
Time flows in a constant speed and never-ending cycle- like gravity and like the heavens. It never changes. However, they are creatures that roam the earth that can be affected by time differently. And there are some that are not affected by it completely.
Such as the case with Alexander, after he consumed the serum. Time no longer affects him and neither does physical damage could threaten his very existence. Like a god he remains on earth, existing endlessly till the end of time itself. He is above it all: time, space, all the rules of nature- and even destiny itself. He is the one in control of his own fate.
He managed to remove himself from the system of what we called life, turned himself into a godly being. And he was hated by the fates themselves, because of it.
