"Minho, wake up!", I woke up with a jolt when I heard Minji calling me from outside.
"Arghh...where am I!?", I rubbed my sleepy eyes and observed the surroundings.
"Minho, you....", Minji suddenly burst inside the room and I realised that I was at Minji's place.
"If you are awake, freshen up and come out for breakfast. I'm running late because of you", Minji said angrily and slammed the door behind her.
"Ah! My head is paining so much", I made my towards the bathroom and quickly got ready.
As I went outside the room, the aroma of delicious food hit my nose and my stomach growled.
"Come quickly", Minji said putting down the dishes on the table.
"What did you made?? It smells so delicious", I asked taking my seat.
"Nothing special....it's just sprout soup, egg fried rice from yesterday's leftover rice and pork belly stew", Minji served me a bowl of sprout soup and I took in the delicious smell.
"Thanks for making me a hangover soup, Minji-ahh", I said happily and took a sip of the soup.
"Mmmmh", I exclaimed as the delicious soup touched my taste buds.
"Minji-ahh, marry me!", I said looking at her and she chocked on her food.
"Cough...cough....Minho, you....", I passed her a glass of water and she took large gulps of water.
"I swear, if you do that again I'll break every bone in your body", she said pointing her chopsticks towards me.
"Aww~ Minji-aah, but you make me a handicap who will buy you ice cream at the time of your periods", I smirked.
"You----- shameless!", she said angrily and resumed eating her food.
"I'm just imagining if you become my wife, I'll be able to eat these types of food everyday", I said, as I took a bite from the stew and moaned in delight.
Minji didn't say anything, she just glared at me. God only knew how much I feel pleased after teasing her.
We ate our breakfast quietly and I started to think about Jungkook. I knew he liked Minji, but I don't believe him, afterall he is an idol. Although, the whole world knew how good Jungkook was but there was still doubts in my mind.
"I've finished eating and I'll head out now", Minji said getting up from her chair.
"Me too. Let me help you with the dishes", I offered.
"Ok", she said and went towards the kitchen and put the plates in the sink.
"Go and get ready", I said rolling my sleeves getting ready to wash the dishes.
"Don't you have any appointments today??", she asked.
"I've some work to do, so I took half a day off", I said and Minji gave me a puzzled look.
"What work!?", I knew she would ask.
"I've to transfer money to father and it may take sometime, as I'm also going to open a new bank account", I said, as I started to wash the dishes.
"Why do you need a new account??", she asked heading out of the kitchen.
"I decided to save some money for father in there", I replied.
"Aww~", she said from her room.
I made my way out of the kitchen after finishing up the work and Minji also came out.
I looked at her calmly and she smiled at me and I realised something and smirked.
"What are you smiling at??", Minji asked putting on her shoes.
"Oh, nothing! Shall we head out now?? And can you please let me borrow your car", I pleaded.
"Okay", she said throwing the car keys at me and I caught them easily.
"Thanks, babygirl!", I winked and Minji rolled her eyes.
Soon we made our ways downstairs and I saw Mr. Park standing by the door.
"Morning, Mr. Park!", I greeted.
"Good morning, drunk boy", Mr. Park said and Minji burst out laughing.
"Hmm!", I angrily made my way towards Minji's car ignoring Mr. Park's teasing face, Minji tailed behind me.
We quickly got inside the car and made our way towards the hospital.
"Can you move faster?? I need to check few more things before the operation", she said and I hit the gas pedal increasing the speed.
After about thirty minutes we reached the hospital and Minji quickly got out of the car.
"Bye, Minho! Take care on the road and see you at lunch time", she said quickly and ran off.
"Take care of yourself", I shouted behind her, but didn't hear.
As soon as she was out of sight, I dialled a certain number. The phone was picked up after two rings.
"What do you want now, Minho??", Jungkook's tired voice came from the other end.
"Aw~ JK don't talk to your close friend like this....I'm very hurt", I said with a smile.
"Why did you call??", Jungkook asked.
"Well, I wanted to tell you something", I said.
"Tell me", he said.
"But at first, I want to know that if you like Minji or not??", I asked and the other side turned silent for a moment.
"Yes, I like her", I can feel Jungkook blushing at the other side.
"Good! I just wanted to tell you that, I'm not going to let you have Minji", I said.

'I'm not going to let you have Minji', this words kept ringing in my head and I turned silent.
"Hello?? Jungkook, are you there??", Minho's voice came from the other end.
"Hmm", I replied.
"So, as I was telling....I won't let you have her", he said again.
"And tell me again that who are you to give me permission!?", I asked calmly but only I knew how much angry I was.
"Her best friend!", he replied and I chuckled.
"You are not her father or mother or not even her brother then why do you think that I will be bothered by your opinion", I said and now it was his turn to become silent.
"Look Minho, I don't really know how close you both actually are and I don't care also. The thing I know is that, Minji doesn't love you!", I said.
"But she doesn't love you too", he said shamelessly.
"She doesn't love me now, but what about the future. You were with her for about a year but she didn't fell in love with you", I said with a smile.
"So what I didn't make her fall in love with me, but the question is, can you make her fall in love with you??", he asked.
"If I try my best, she will love me", I said.
"C'mon, you are Jeon Jungkook! The world knows you and Minji is already your fan. It's a advantage for you to vow her, isn't it!?", he said.
"So, what are you trying to say??", I asked.
"Made her fall in love with Ho-Jun. Don't use your identity as Jungkook to win her over", he said and I was speechless for a moment.
"But it's unfair to lie to her", I said.
"You sound like, you didn't lie to her from beginning", he said.
"Or do you think, you can't do it", he challenged.
"I can do it, but I need time to think about it", I said.
"Take your time. When you decide give me a call", he hanged up.
I looked up and others were looking at me. The phone was on speaker so they heard everything.
"It was wise of you that you didn't accept this challenge", Namjoon hyung said.
"But how dare that boy say these things", Jin hyung said angrily.
"The main question is, will you accept what he said??", Yoongi hyung asked.
"No, Jungkook don't! It's a big mistake, I'm telling you", Hoseok hyung warned.
"This guy wants this only, he wants you to accept his challenge and lie to Minji and when Minji finds out, he will put all the blame on you", Hoseok hyung explained.
"I can understand that", I said.
"So, what do you plan to do now!?", Jimin asked.
"I can't do anything sitting here in Italy, can I?? So, I'll wait until I get back", I said and others nodded in agreement.
"Just the thing is that, I think it's not wise to reveal my identity so fast", I said.
"But why!?", Taehyung asked.
"I want to get to know her fast and then come to a conclusion", I said.
"See Jungkook, you're pretty grown up now to understand what's wrong and what's right, so it's up to you to decide what you shall do. If you think it's for the best, we will support you", Namjoon hyung said and others nodded.
"Khamsamida, hyung", I said with a big smile.
"Now c'mon, we all need to take some rest before we start rehearsal tomorrow", Jin hyung said and went to his room.
"Good night, everyone!", Yoongi said and he also left, Jimin tailing behind him.
"Let's go, Jungkook! We should also have some sleep", Taehyung said putting a hand over my shoulder.
"Yeah, let's go".
