Chapter 70 - Chapter 69 The Great Darkness

"You will have to die with me!" Blake yelled

His aura shot out of him and rushed toward her,

Avalon lifted her sword waiting for it to strike first, which it did It flew up before descending upon her, She moved some of her light to the blade intensifying the heat within it, She stared at the aura until it came at arm's length of her before slashing through the atmosphere into the aura,

it screamed and then descended back to its master who glared at her, he felt his aura go back into his mind talking to him,

"Every time we hit her, she gets stronger," Aura snarled

"I know," Blake thought

Blake moved away from one of the knives she threw at him, she launched herself at him trying to cut through him, he moved away from her sword while talking with his aura,

"I don't believe that is just her getting stronger," Blake thought

He moves away from her,

"What do you mean?" Aura asked

"She has always been this strong," Blake pondered

Avalon moved her arm behind her and then lunged her fist at him, Blake's eyes widened before feeling a power he never felt, the punch landed on his face, and he was pushed back by the amount of force, however, he dug his feet into the roof stopping him from going any farther,

"Master?" Aura question

Blake looked at Avalon finding her not where she was,

"There has been a power in her, that's been locked from her," Blake explained

A rush of wind went around him and eminence power resided over him, Therefore he looked above him... she was in the air her sword looking to swing down at him,

her eyes glowing a bright silver with her body shining iridescent,

"Goodbye," Avalon whispered

He tried to move away from the sword, however, he did, but it hit his shoulder burning him and causing him to move aside holding his arm, He glared at her, but he felt an emotion that familiar to him rise again, an image of her laughing, smiling,

It warmed his heart, but her attacking him wanting his death… he started to feel cold,

"My son,"

Blake's eyes shot open, He wasn't on the roof anymore but in a dark room filled with dark red streaks moving through it,

"Blake,"

A quiet voice called him, He stood there contemplating if he wanted to follow the voice while he thought he could get his aura if need be, however, he didn't see this coming.

"Aura show yourself!" Blake yelled

Nothing happens, he is left there not alone but without his aura, He tried again, getting the same result,

"Blake follows my voice,"

Blake turned to the voice and thought to himself,

"There is no other way out of this than to confront it,"

He slowly walked through the darkness with the voice urging him on, with words of

"Let's go, my son," or " We need to talk… It's been too long,"

He then stood in front of a door with a different language on it, and the voice called him again.

"Just thought of this door, my son,"

Blake pressed his hand on the door and opened it, He looked around the room, finding it like a royal banquet hall full of lavish decor, His eyes scanned around the room trying to find the voice until he stopped at a couch at the end of the room,

"I see that you made it,"

He stopped, finding a woman there drinking a glass of wine and staring at him, He found her having a hood covering her face, while she placed the glass down and turned to him, patting the seat next to her,

"Sit down, we only have a little time," She said

He stood there with uncertainty running through his head, the woman grabbed his attention,

"I mean no harm, my son, I just want to help with..."

The room shacked,

"With your fight," She said

"I would rather stand," Blake, said

"Fine, have it your way. Do you know where you are?" She asked

"No, I don't," Blake answered

"This is where your ancestors meet to teach the new host, the one who held these powers before will help you," She explained

Blake stared at her in disbelief, They help him Now. After all the strife and hurt, they decided that his having to fight his love was the perfect time to help him,

"What?" Blake asked

"You heard me. We are here to help you, I thought you wanted that," She questioned

"Yes I heard you, I just believe what you said was illogical," Blake said

She tried to say something to him but Blake didn't want to hear it, holdings his hand up to her,

"If you are my ancestors, then why didn't you come to me sooner?" He continued

"We didn't..."

"We didn't what? Think that I was worthy of your time? That I was just a human wondering my way through life with none there for me. My father chose his son's life for him or had the only other person that I love wanting me dead. And where were you all? Hiding away, watching me with scorn!" Blake yelled

She watched as his eyes burned a dark red glaring hole into her, he felt a tear go down his face, causing him to move away from the woman, He had enough of this foolishness if they were never there to help him. Why would he require it now?

"I know you hurt,"

He was a foot away from the door when she stopped him with those words,

He swiftly turned around not finding her in the same spot but in front of him with white tears dropping on her feet,

"How do you know my hurt?" He asked

She removed the hood.

"Cause I've been watching over you this whole time," Rhian said

Blake moved away from her too stunned to believe it was her, the room started to shake around them,

"You can't be her, she's dead," Blake let out

Rhina gave him a small smile and walked to him, holding her hand out, lightly holding his cheek,

"Yes I'm dead, but just like them, I watched everything you did Blake," Rhina said

He stayed silent.

"You have to stop this, Blake. All of this murder, blackmail, inhuman creations, working with corrupted entities, it will hurt you," Rhian said

Blake did nothing.

"Blake… please talk," Rhain begged

"Leave," Blake whispered

Rhian didn't hear him, Therefore, she says,

"Talk to me,"

He glared up at her, She smiled just happy to see him looking at her until he moved fast at her and pain went through her chest, Rhian stared at her son shocked before looking down. Blake punched through her, grabbing her heart.

"I've had enough of people messing with my heart," Blake scorned

She stared at him, begging him not to with her eyes, She couldn't talk with his grip on her heart,

"Now you know how it feels,"

He starts to tug on her heart,

"To have your heart ripped out," He seethed

He pulled her heart out. She had a grip on his arm until he ripped it out. She lost her grip and fell off him, landing on the floor, She looked up at him, her eyes losing their glow before disappearing away from him.

He looked at where she was with scorn and then dropped the heart, letting the organ disappear with her,

"It's done,"

With the room falling around him, He opened his eyes, letting off a dark red glow,

Avalon stood there aghast, She just hit him with her blade, and he fell so easily, Lt concerned her, but she didn't know what was happening to him, She moved to his laid body and a blistering cold came off him, hitting Avalon She looked down at him while mentally preparing herself to kill him,

Avalon raised her sword above him,

"I'm sorry," She whispered

She has a vision of him sitting in front of her in a meeting making faces while Salvatore talks, Avalon has a small smile on her face until a dark memory appears before her. A dark skeleton in a chair with a snicker behind her,

Avalon glared down at him with her blade in front of him to cut through his chest,

"Nice try my love,"

Her sword is halted by his placing his hand on it, Avalon saw his red eyes staring up at her with no love or anger that held him so deeply, but hate and pain showed in them swirling around his eyes, he grabbed the sword from her and threw it to the side.

Avalon didn't see him move that fast at her, he grabbed her by the neck, lifting her off her feet,

"I'm not dead," Blake scoffed

Avalon glared down at him, feeling harder to breathe, he tilted watching her struggle to get out of his grip, he sighed at her and lost his grip,

"What was that, dear?" Blake asked

Avalon mustered enough air for this,

"No, you're dead in the spirit,"
