As the two journeyed together for a time, Min had explored the castle and surrounding land a bit more and noticed, hidden away in the dungeon, an infestation of strange creatures. At one point, when checking it out, he was bitten.
Nimi had noticed him gradually getting paler and questioned him about it. "What's going on? Your skin seems to be getting extremely pale. Are you okay?" She had resolved to not use her Scrying to see his Past or Future because they're friends.
"Not exactly." He sighed. "My neck's been hurting and going in the sun burns my skin a lot easier."
"Have you been sleeping wrong?"
"Not that I know of."
"Have you been eating properly?"
"Yeah. I mean, I've been eating what you feed me."
"Well... true."
"This started a little while after I had gone down to the dungeon."
"We have a dungeon?" Nimi was surprised.
"Yeah." Min nods. "Follow me."
They went down into the underground chambers, passing those, and went to the lowest level. "Is this it?"
"Yeah."
"One second." Her eyes closed momentarily before glowing. "Now we can go."
"Alright." As they went deeper into the dungeons, a rotten bloody smell filled the air.
"It stinks."
"It didn't last time."
"Oh well." She simply squeezed her nose so she didn't smell it.
"It happened right there." Min pointed in between the two farthest cells.
"Got it." Nimi walked right over there and lit up the area, hearing an angry hiss. "Vamps."
"Huh?"
"You were bit by a Vampire, you idiot!" She walked up to him and examined the wound. "Let me check for the pois..." She trails off with a sigh.
"What?"
"It's in your heart already." Nimi sighed again. "I can't heal you."
"That's quite annoying."
"Why didn't you bring this up sooner?"
"I thought I'd be fine."
"Why exactly? You could have been bitten by a diseased rat!"
"I wasn't feeling sick. Just sensitive to the sun."
"You're still an idiot." She sat down cradling her head in her palms. "First, kill them."
"Got it." Min nods. "I'll be back m'Lady."
"You better." Nimi mutters.
"Done." She glanced over to the corner and saw piles of ashes.
"Good." She stands up with a smile. "Follow me." Nimi leads him up to the tallest tower. It was night already and she grins. "Perfect timing."
"What?"
"Shush. I need to find out exactly what you are."
"No you don't!" Min begins panicking.
"Why are you so scared?"
"There's things I don't want you to know."
"Oh?"
"I just said I don't want you to know."
"That simply makes me want to know more." Nimi grins and freezes him in time. "Just wait." She says with a smile. She proceeds to draw a magic circle around him in a specific pattern that would show her exactly what she wants, his identity in the simplest form. The spell shows the caster a list of the one in the center's basic abilities and traits.

"Also, I was totally right about your weapon abilities." "Happens." "Also, you have three familiars and three titles." "That's new." He perks up in interest. "What are they?" "You've got a fell owl, ethereal cat and a fey wolf for the familiars. For your titles, they're The Lost One, The Enchanted Foundling and The Dragonheart." "Interesting." Min nods slightly.
