When Jina asked his name, Min froze. "Well...." He looked at me, seeming panicked.
"Let's not speak of the past." He smiled slightly.
"Yeah." He nodded. "I am Min Name."
"Well Min Name, let's go to the gardens." Elle smiled.
"Sure." He followed behind us, hand on the pommel of his sword the whole way. Once inside my maze of plants however, Min seemed to relax and let go of it. I still felt his magical aura poised, ready to strike, though.
"I think we've gone far enough. Ladies?" I gesture for them to come to me. They do so and I reach a hand out to each. "Min." He walks over and rests his forehead against mine. Since we're closer, Min takes the main assist spot. In a powerful spell, it works best if many people attempt to cast it. Once we all stood together, I had Elle and Jina hold Min's hands and I began the chant. My form changed, as is normal for when I use a spell assist, and my eyes flashed from the pale pink into the normal while the rest of the form stayed. After the flash, I turned back and the maze of plants behind me started writhing, making it so no one could pass without an immensely powerful counter spell. "Let us continue."
"Did we just cast magic?" Elle looked excited.
"We did."
"Yay!" She giggled and Jina joined her. "That's so cool!"
"Follow me you two." They calm down and nod. As we head out, the plants behind us make it so that without completely destroying the spell and the plants, you are incapable of making it through. I fall back so they aren't caught up with the plants since once I pass an intersection, it clogs with plants almost immediately. Min leads after we realize that and I can tell he is totally relaxed. It's a bit surprising since it's near black in here from the plants that grew "naturally" overhead. In other words, they were created to do that from my spellsinging. "We are here." I hear the ladies gasp, seeing the luminescent Fountain and the glimmering roses I had chosen to surround it. On the Fountain, the harp glowed and continued playing. I had infused it with a hint of my Songmagic so it will play forevermore.
"This is so pretty..." Elle trailed off.
"Have a seat."
"Where? There's no-" She looked around and saw a bench of thornless roses begin to form. "Woah!" Jina ran over with her and they both admired the roses.
"What color do you see?"
"Turquoise, my favorite color." Elle said confidently.
"I see scarlet." Jina sounded confused.
"Min?" I turn towards him.
"A twist of pink and purple." Min smiles at me. "You?"
"White."
"White, huh?"
"Yeah." I chuckled. "My favorite color."
"Aha. Now I know what these are." He laughs. "They're Dawn Roses."
"Exactly."
"Dawn Roses?" Elle asked.
"Dawn Roses are special kinds of roses that, when they bloom, the color of the blossom looks like the favorite color of the viewer."
"That's interesting." Jina smiles. "Mind if I stay for a time to learn more about these plants you've got?"
"No! Go ahead and stay! I'd love to teach someone!"
"Sorry for any trouble it may cause you."
"Oh it'll be fine! This place is huge." I laughed. "Just remember, I don't have servants nor guards. Stay at your own risk. There may be very powerful beings trying to attack us and we may leave for long periods of time."
"I should be able to handle it."
"Good!"
