Chereads / MY ILL INNOCENCE / Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

He cleared his throat and started the first lecture. I brushed my long wavy hair purposely at his arms. That teacher must have thought that it was my innocence -my veiled innocence. His countenance flushed whenever my hair brushed his arms accidentally or coincidentally.

I pretended to look alert and attentive.

".....so this is sigma bond...."

I noticed his emerald green eyes which illuminated in a bright sunshine. I ogled his bare muscular designated with a crisscross of veins.

I forcefully asked doubts on the structure of compounds by tapping his arms slowly (naughty). Damn, his arms were as hard as rock or stone.

"Do you understand this?, the basisity of hydrochloric acid is 1."

"umm, yes sir."

I was barely interested at his monotonous lecture. He had lousy style of teaching, I must admit.

I continuously scratched my head and locked my gaze at the vintage clock placed adjacent to me.

My orbs danced at one of picture hung on the wall. He was with a pretty girl nearly of his age.

"Do you have any questions?," he asked after explaining those weird aliphatic compounds.

"Who is the girl in that picture?," I asked.

"What?," he questioned.

I folded my lips in innocence.

He curled his lips and smile, "She's my wife."

"She looks pretty.," I admitted enviously.

He again started explaining those depressed and lonely state of oxygen.

".....this is a lone pair...."

I yawned and tried to concentrate my eyes at the black and white print of that book.

He gazed at his retro watch and declared that the class was over. I was counting on the seconds of the clock which seemed like an hour, the time was twenty past twelve.

I realized that my mother horned her car continuously in front of the gate.

"Bye sir.," I said with my utmost respect.

"Study properly.," he replied.

I immediately turned back with a sour smile and rolled my blue sapphire eyes.

I encountered my mother who waved at me from distant.

"Hey sweetie, How was your day?," she asked as I closed the car's door.

"Fine.,"I replied with a lame tone.

"How's your new tuition teacher?," she questioned.

"Average.," I replied as I checked my conversation with my bestfriend, Suzan.

She texted, "Hey, Vanessa How's Andrew?"

"Andy, he's fine. Don't you dare flirt with him.," I warned.

"Are you afraid?"

"You know, I have Charley.," she replied after five seconds.

"You say he's lame."

"Yes, he's lame in kissing and..... everything..."

"I have my date with Andy today."

"Bye."

"Bye, Hmph!," she ended the conversation.

I didn't recognize that I had reached my house. I immediately flung the door open and jumped from my seat.

"Careful, Vanessa.," she frowned.

I darted in the kitchen, I knew Alfred ate my twisted sticks completely.

"Alfred."

"ALFRED!," I screamed.

"What the heck?"

"Are you the one to finish my twisted sticks?," I asked.

"Do you have any evidence?"

I grabbed his curled hair and strangled it. He attempted to pull my hair with his soccer hand.

"Monkeys has again started fighting.," my mom said with an exhausted face.

"He has finished my full packet.," I pointed Alfred.

"I have eaten your twisted sticks.," she sighed.

"No wonder, why are you growing fatter and fatter, day by day.," I left the room with a vexed statement.
