One year earlier

Monica woke up with a new sense of purpose.After spending nearly two weeks crying over her most recent heart break,she was ready to move on.

She made the decision to accept the offer given to her by one of her friends.She was going to be a travel agent.Her parents didn't approve of her decision and thought she made it out of spite.She had never been the type to hold grudges.Even so,she doubted she'd ever forgive her twin for pretending to be her and dating the love of her life for nearly two months.

"It was just a joke"was what Sarah said when Monica found out.The two had always been close until Sarah became competitive.Its hard to say really what changed but Monica wasn't going to put up with it anymore.

"I'm leaving and that's it,my mind is made"

"Dont be such a baby!"

"little miss perfect always gets what she wants!you wanted him and you got him.What more could you want?"

"We're sisters,we're supposed to be there for each other.You can't just leave,you're being selfish."

"You know all about selfish don't you!?"

"I'll never forgive you if you go.I'll make sure you regret it!"

Sarah had always been the selfish one.She didn't care who she hurt.But she always needed Monica.She was the only one who understood her.The only one who could handle her.But Monica had had enough.

Monica left that very same night.She felt like a new person and she was glad to get a break from her toxic relationship with her sister.It was the end of any relationship they had,but it was the start of something sinister.
