Chapter 2 - chapter two

Monica and Sarah were exactly the same. Both had blonde shoulder length hair, blue eyes and were both 5'6.They were even the same body size. The only thing that separated them was their personality.

Sarah had always been the bold one.She was as manipulative as they come. She was always the rebellious one. When a teacher saw her smoking in school she ran.Because she looked exactly like her sister, the teacher never knew who did what.

So initially, they both got punished. It had been that way for a long time. They both paid for each other's sins.Regardless of her selfish  behavior Sarah loved her sister. She always stood by her no matter what.Sarah loved her sister so much she wanted to be her.

She spent hours listening, observing everything about her. From the way she flipped her hair when she laughed to the way she fiddled with her fingers when she was nervous.

She could mimic her every move. She had pretended to be Monica more often than she was herself. However she thought it would be fun to see if Monica's boyfriend could tell them apart.Monica always spoke so highly of him.And Sarah hated that, she felt like she was being replaced.

Sarah got so used to being Monica that she didn't know when to stop. What she didn't know was that they both shared a fascination for each other.

Monica was a great liar, she could convince anyone anything. She didn't mean to lie;it came naturally. But she never had the confidence her sister had.The day she had to pretend to be Sarah was the best day of her life.

I guess you can say twins pretending to be each other is normal. When Sarah had suggested it,it seemed insane. But as Monica walked through the hallway of her school, chin up,chest out she knew she wanted more.Sarah was envied by many and Monica wanted that.

So as Sarah observed her,she observed Sarah. Two sisters, the liar and the manipulator. What could go wrong?...Alot

Sarah felt betrayed by her sister's absence and Monica felt betrayed by her sister's presence. They both wished they could have better versions of the other. And that's when everything went wrong.
