"Welcome home!" Isabelle greeted him as she popped out of nowhere. It's been six years when he saw her. Ellie was alone, sitting on a chair inside of his room. "It's just like you said. The real world is a piece of crap. No matter how many years you are with us, we won't abandon you. I won't abandon you. We won't hurt you or make you worry! You can hit the reset button all you want!" she said as she slapped him with the actual truth. She's trying to get him back to the fictional realm as he should just forget her.
"Come on! Look! Dorinpa… Dorunpa!" she waved her magic wand, and she released her full magic inside the room.
He sees beautiful flowers, magical sparkles, and the elements he read from his novels. The characters are dancing and laughing as they lived on their happily ever after. Dragons and magical birds are flying across the room.
"Yahoo!! It's so much fun in here!" she shouted as she flies along the dragons.
Ellie didn't care about anything at all. He still felt lonely as he doesn't what to do next.
"Hey. You should just forget about it already."
"I don't want to." he said seriously.
"Huh?"
"I don't want to forget."
"How long are you going to be say that?" she yelled at him in worrying.
"She was my everything! I couldn't do anything, but she could do everything! There's no way that I could forget her!" he yelled at her forcefully as he look into her eyes.
"So that's how it's going to be? If you go walking through that door, do you think that girl will wait for you? This isn't a novel, Ellie! There aren't miracles or magic in real life!" she shouted at him, but she's concerned about him. Ellie didn't say a word as he decided what will he go to do.
"I know that."
"Then, do you accept the depressing ending?"
"There's no way I do. If I compare my life to how it was when I was with her, I was always heading towards the happy ending. I want to live in a world where she's there. Even that if means I can't be with her."
She suddenly cries as she can't win against to his heart. She can no longer insist if he does not want to. She realizes that Ellie had grown up after all these years of her caring. He finally broke out of his shell, and he's willing to do the right thing.
"Humph!" she flickers her magic wand, and the surrounding magic fades out.
"Do you know the problem with us? No matter how much I worry about you, no matter how much I preach to you! No matter how much I loved you… I can't meet you. There isn't a reset button in real life. You can only do things once, right?" she said as she finally gave him advice. Her best decision is to push him forward, and face his reality.
Ellie can feel that she's supporting her. He could not let that the bad outcome will happen to him. He rises and dashed outside the room to see her.
"Go get her, you wimp!!"
He rushed immediately on the streets, on his way to the wedding, as he settles his emotions, once and for all. He breath heavily while he's running with all his might, as long as he can be with her.
At the wedding, Alex understood that she needs to leave, and broke their wedding. She realized she found what she was seeking for. She rose up on her seat and suddenly, the crowd surprised. It surprised Christian, and she grabbed her hand to stop her. But he eventually realizes that she needs to leave him, to be with her true love. He let go of her hand, and Alex ran out the door. The two of them ran hurriedly, so they could see each other. Their hearts couldn't stop beating because of the feelings they had been carrying for each other. It's like the last chapter of Wishing Upon a Star, where the main and female protagonists found each other at the place that where magic of love developed to them. As Alex reached at the park, she couldn't see him because many people were there to see the fireworks. Suddenly, her consciousness speaks to her.
"He's over there!" her consciousness said, as she guides her. They saw each other at the bridge, when they first date each other.
Ellie was panting as he saw Alex wearing a beautiful gown. The time stopped for the two of them as they finally saw each other.
"Hey! I'm… I'm Eleanor Bryson! You probably don't know me but… I know you!" he said while his tears kept falling down. Alex suddenly felt that she was crying when she saw him.
"Alexandria Madrigal! I've never properly said your name. When things were rough… I did nothing!" Alex gradually comes to him slowly while her tears kept falling down.
"Looking back at it, I'm not very experienced. You are the only person I have loved for all of my 23 years of life! I have never thought of anyone else! No, that's wrong! That doesn't matter!" he cried, and Alexandria is now in front of him. They looked at each other in the eyes, like they missed each other.
"I have a request. Alexandria. Alex. Will you date… Can we start our story again?" he still crying. "Sorry!"
Alex gently touches his cheek as she smiles at him. Ellie felt again her gentle touch when she's comforting him.
"Don't cry…" Ellie agitated when he heard her words she said back then.
"W-What?"
"Don't cry… Ellie."
Ellie cried in happiness when she mentioned his name. He happily hugs Alex thoroughly as the time moves around them. The fireworks lighted up the night sky as they encountered different colors. They hugged tightly so they could feel the joy they felt every time they met. Ellie was fortunate when he suddenly reflected off their first meeting with Alex in the faculty room. Ellie thought it would be a pain in the butt when he was with Alexandria. Alex drove him into a rollercoaster ride full of happiness, embarrassment, pain, irritation, and many more. Ellie was glad that he kept her promise to love her real girlfriend from then, to now, until their happily ever after.
