Chapter 89 - Requests

Meanwhile at the gates of Jasmine Kingdom, a heavily wounded man was brought over unconscious by his horse.

The guards were alerted and they went to the horse. They saw the man lying on the horse with his clothes and face drenched in blood. It is impossible to identify the person in that condition.

The soldiers took him to the infirmary to treat his injuries. He doesn't have any Kingdom's sign on him to determine. He looked like a normal person but the aura surrounding him is quite strong as a knight's even though he is lying unconscious.

With suspicion, they reported this matter to their higher authorities and let it reach the king. Generally these kinds of trivial matters are handled by ministers or higher officials themselves, but here the King's intervention might be needed as this person seemed to have some peculiar abilities which make him more dangerous.

As the ministers showed concern for an immediate action, the King himself started to the infirmary. By the time he and his men reached that place, the people at infirmary already cleaned the person and disinfected his wounds.

He had brown hair and he seemed peaceful while sleeping but one can easily feel the aura around him. Shivraj fell into deep thought after looking at the person.

"Abhijit" someone called a name which cut off Shivraj's thoughts.

Everyone looked at the person who called him.

"Raghu, do you know him?" Shivraj asked.

"Yes, Your Majesty" Raghu bowed and informed politely.

"Who is he?"

"Your Majesty, he is an acquaintance of mine. His highness, King Chanukya also knows him." Raghu deliberately hid the information that Abhijit is a friend of Maira since it is a sensitive matter related to the royal family.

But Shivraj guesses Raghu is hiding something. But he trusts Raghu with his life, so he didn't insist further and nodded his head.

"Raghu, move him to the palace and inform the royal doctor to attend to him," Shivraj ordered and left the place.

Raghu shifted Abhi to one of the finest rooms in the palace and brought the doctor to check on him. After making sure everything was right, he left the room and went to the king's chamber.

"Your Majesty" Raghu bowed before Shivraj.

"Come in Raghu."

"Your Majesty. I hid something before," Raghu confessed.

"I Know. What is it Raghu?" Shivraj asked calmly.

"Your Majesty. Abhijit is actually a close friend of Princess Maira" Raghu informed.

"Oh.."

Raghu informs him of all the information he knows about their friendship.

Shivraj thought for some time and looked at Raghu and ordered.

"Raghu, don't let anyone know about him. After he's recovered, send him away from this palace" Shivraj ordered.

Raghu looked at Shivraj with confusion and nodded his head in approval.

'I don't let my daughter be taken by a normal person and that too by a fellow from the Rose kingdom,' Shivraj thought to himself.

Oak continued treating the twins and information about Abhijit was kept hidden to all. Abhijit is also getting treated in secret and his condition is improving.

Surya also gets treatment in secret from his own men and the court things are handled by them only. Ministers didn't oppose them and didn't have courage to ask about the King.

Meanwhile in the IRIS kingdom, Rishi won the bet with his father. He went to meet his father to discuss the three requests.

The guard announced Rishi's arrival and opened the King's chamber for him to enter. Rishi's father King Chakravarthi, his mother Queen Sumitra and his brother Raj are waiting for him in the chamber.

Raj stood up and went towards Rishi. He gave a hug to Rishi and congratulated on his victory.

"Congratulations brother. You make me proud always." Raj greeted.

Rishi smiled and said, "Thanks Raj"

Both of them are seated in front of their parents.

"Did you get hurt anywhere Rishi?" Sumitra worriedly asked.

"No mother. I am alright," Rishi assured her with a smile.

"That's a relief. I am really proud of you my son!" sumitra said proudly.

"Ahem"

Then only they noticed king Chakravarti. He camly sips tea while they are busy praising Rishi.

He elegantly placed the tea cup down and looked at Rishi.

"Why are you praising him so highly? I too won a war when I was younger than him." King Chakravatrhi remarked.

"As I remember, you had the entire army of IRIS behind your back. Your Majesty?" Sumitra snapped.

"Yes. Rishi won the war without any support from Iris. He himself made an army and went to fight. And most importantly he won against the Rose Kingdom army!" Raj said with sparks in his eyes.

"Huh.. What so great about that army. I'd single handedly defeat them. If only I had been that young.." Chakravarthi snapped.

The trio looked at him with an expression 'Is that so?' he just avoided their gaze.

"State your 3 requests" Chakravarthi diverted the topic.

"Sure Your Majesty" Rishi said with a smirk.

Chakravarti sensed something fishy in Rishi's smirk.

"My first request is to hand over the lands requested by the King of Cosmos within a few days" Rishi informed calmly.

"What?" Chakravarti roared.

"No way. I won't give up those lands to that punk. How dare he ask for my lands?" Chakravarti fumed with anger.

"That is one of my requests, Your Majesty" Rishi said.

"You.. you.. how did you make that kind of a deal with him? Whatever! I am not giving anybody any lands." Chakravarti denied the request.

"So the great king Chakravarti is declining his own words. How terrible.." Rishi remarked.

Raj sniffled his laugh. He clearly knows how cunning Rishi is and how he will deal with his father.

"What? You are the one who made the bet so you solve that problem. But I am not going to handover those lands to him. If he wants you as a servant I would gladly accept" Chakravarti stated.

Everyone ".."
