Chapter 17 - Chapter 16: Ibere mi (My beginning)16

" Ṣe iwọ yoo sọ bi o ṣe mọ pe ọmọbinrin mi kii yoo jẹ nla? Tabi o ti rii ọjọ iwaju (Will you tell how you knew my daughter won't be great? Or have you already seen the future)" My Mom beautiful feature was mixed with unrefined anger.

The female teacher stood in fear. Useless and fake.

"Woli obinrin ti o padanu, Mo korira beere ibeere kan ati pe emi ko le gba esi (Miss prophetess, I hate asking a question and I can't get a reply)"

I ran to my mom spreading out my arms, signaling her to carry me. Which she did.

Finally. I wrapped my arms around her neck and gently put my head on my 'Pillow'

I don't care about anything or anyone else, if my mom is here. I felt at home in my mom arms.

" Ma Emi ko tumọ si lati sọ iyẹn (Ma I don't mean to say that)" The female teacher stuttered. It was so funny.

" Kini itumo yen? (What do you mean by that?) " I could feel the anger in her voice, it was intense.

"Emi ( I... )" My mom patience had run out.

" Dake enu re (Shut up)" My Mom roared. Even I trembled in fear. Was this my sweet mom whose voice is so sweet and loving. I removed my head from my 'pillow' to take a good look at her.

Her eyes were red and dark with anger, her beautiful face was filled with pain. She was about to cry but she managed not to. I was scared that I almost fell from her arms, if not of her tight grip on me, I would have hit the ground since.

The whole office shook with fear. Trembling silence filled the office.

" Bawo ni o ṣe gboya lati sọ iru nkan bẹẹ si ọmọde kekere, Woli obinrin ti o padanu (How dare you say such thing to a little child, Miss prophetess)" She glared at the trembling female teacher.

" O ni ikun yẹn, iwọ ko bẹru Ọlọrun. O kere ju, fun awọn iran iwaju rẹ nitori. Kini ti ẹnikan ba sọ awọn nkan wọnyẹn si ọmọ rẹ, bawo ni iwọ yoo ṣe rilara. O dara, otun? (You got that gut, you don't fear God. At least, for your future generations sake. What if someone said those things to your child, how will you feel. Good, right?)"

The female teacher started crying. Crocodile tears.

Sonya eyes were on me since I was in my mom's arms. I couldn't define the emotions in his eyes. But I hid my face away from him in my ' pillow'

"O dara, fun alaye rẹ, Morenikeji yoo di nla ni igbesi aye. Yoo dagba daradara ju Jakobu lọ funrararẹ ( Well, for your information, Morenikeji will become great in life. She will flourish More than Jacob, himself)" I said amen in my heart. I love My Mom.

Well the inclusion of Mr. Jacob from the Bible .... Made me smile. Jacob was far more better than his fathers.

"Ti ẹnikẹni ba sọ iru nkan bayi si ọmọbinrin mi tabi awọn ọmọde eyikeyi, Ṣe o mọ awọn ifesi? ( If anyone say this kind of thing to my daughter or any children, You know the repercussions?) "

My mom is kinda scary here. "Emi yoo rii daju pe 'Olofo' kekere yii di 'Winner' nla ati pe o dara lati ṣọra. Awọn iran rẹ le jẹ apoti itisẹ fun oun ati awọn iran rẹ ( And I will make sure this little ' Loser' becomes a big ' Winner ' and you better watch out. Your generations might be a footstool for her and her generations)"

Ok. this was scary. With that being said, she walked out of the office with the head master behind.

Well I have noticed something about my mom, anything my mom says she will do, she must do it and accomplish he goals. She is a woman of her words.

Also anything my mom says comes to pass, no matter what it is.
