"Good morning,"
A lady in her 30s smiled at Liechael the moment he stepped foot in the art room. He bowed his head and greeted the lady. Liechael roamed his eyes around and saw the wide room filled with paints everywhere. The ceiling was quite high and compared to any other room, it has no air condition. Only the open windows are giving it some fresh air from the outside.
The lady wanted to apologize to this young master. She's a bit embarrassed and surprised by the sudden visit. She just asked for help from the student council, who would have thought that the young master of the Ross clan would visit her right away. She trudged towards the corner and picked up the paintbrushes immediately. She also took the small canvas away and put it in the cabinet near the white board. "I'm sorry, this room is quite a mess," she apologized.
"It's okay, arts are also messy sometimes,"
Only a few words and the lady froze. She glanced at Liechael, who's busy scanning the paintings hanging on the walls. "I'm not expecting that you will look for me right away after sending the new registration forms," she said.
Liechael looked at the lady. He didn't smile, his lips remained straight. "This room looks like an abandoned house. Why is there no air conditioning here? And the glass doors are quite hard to push" he stated.
He didn't want an art room like this. It has many distractions. Even his art room before as the 24 years old Liechael is well ventilated and clean.
Hearing his thoughts, the lady couldn't help but be agape. The young master who wouldn't even dare to hold a paintbrush in the past nor even visiting the art room are now saying things to improve the art room itself. 'What happened to him? Did he just think of liking art overnight like some kind of joke? Or is it because it was his responsibility as the student council president?' There are so many thoughts occupying her mind right now.
"Young master, Are you okay?" It came right out of her mouth unconsciously.
Liechael glanced at her and realized that he had said so many uncommon things that will lead the lady to confusion. "I am just doing my responsibility as the student council president," he reasoned out. "Is it my duty to take charge after all…"
The lady then bowed her head, feeling very flattered. "Thank you so much, it is my honor to assist you," Then she smiled. "I'm sorry for the late introduction, I am Grace Carrein, the one who's in charge of the art class"
Grace Carrein, probably in her 30s. Long and curly caramel hair and semi tanned skin. She's wearing thick glasses to protect her downturned teak wood colored eyes. She's wearing a straight skirt above her knees with a cardigan. She had this warm smile and gentle personality. No wonder other students are mistaking her as a student like them because of her sweet attitude.
"Let's take a seat" then she walked towards the desk with the boy following her.
After taking the seat across the desk, Miss Carrein took all the unnecessary things away from the desk. She nervously chuckled and apologized. Liechael brushed it off and told the lady that it's okay.
Liachael remained with his expressionless face. "I would like to ask what happened here," he said. Seeing the room unkempt for a long time made him a little bit gloomy.
This time, the smile on the lady's cheeks disappeared. She then averted her gaze, "I am sorry, but some students aren't not paying attention anymore.'' She lowered her head. "Since the room couldn't maintain it's being, our budget is also shortening..you know that they have a policy at school that If you want to join a club and manage one, you need to organize and sustain its needs." her eyes turned pitiful.
Hearing this, Liechael felt the lady's complaint. Even if the school is wealthy and prestigious, it never tolerated the student's entertainment. If you want to form a club, you need to support it or it will be taken down. A good example of testing their student's responsibilities. Even if he was incharge right now, he will never let himself do all the work.
"Are there any class representatives?" Liechael thought that even if the room was about to be taken down, at least there will be art students who will stand by it.
Miss Carrein completely turned silent. Her eyes turned more pitiful. For her, who has loved art since she was young, it's hard to see the students indulging in the new generation now. Forgetting the true nature of arts in the old days. "I have this one student, who's barely supporting the art class even if she's just a scholar…" she stated. "She loved the arts so much that she's always assuring me that she will do everything to bring back it's colors."
"Who's this student?" Liechael asked.
Miss Carrein went back to herself and rummaged inside the messy drawers until she finally picked up a brown folder. "Here it is," she placed it on the desk where Liechael's eyes were.
"That's her registration form, I told her she shouldn't register since she's an old member, but she's so persistent." A light chuckle escaped her lips.
After hearing her explanation, Liechael flipped the brown folder and scanned the 'student's registration form, taking out the first form. He first saw the picture on the right corner of the paper. Liechael's eyes widened. His heart started to race like it would burst out of his chest. He's not expecting to see this person here. Feeling his trembling fingers, the form slipped from his hands.
Stunned and shocked. Light brown wavy hair, fair skin. Oval face with pinkish cheeks. The expression in her photo isn't fake. Soft and joyful lips curved into a big smile.
In the left corner of the picture was little information about her. He was stunned and couldn't move upon tracing the name with his lips.
