Chapter 5 - I'm lost

The two students trailed the long hallway on the third floor. Liechael followed the girl attentively like he was really a lost dog, not even having a single thought of what's happening.

"Where's your arm band?" The girl stopped, the male almost bumped behind her. She crossed her arms and once again scowled. "Geez, Chael, did you lost it again?" She interrogated.

Liechael simply averted his gaze. He noticed the red and white armband around the girl's right arm with the letters forming—Vice President. "Kinda.." he mumbled.

After hearing his response, the girl brushed her face and snorted. "For the fourth time, geez!" She faced the glass door in front of them and opened it very wide. "Let's head inside,"

Liechael once again followed her like a dog with his ears down. The first thing he saw was the long table with 12 seats placed in the middle of the room. There's a whiteboard at the front, which was near the entrance, and then a big bulletin board at the back. Shelves with books on the right side. Magazines and newspapers on the left side. The room was painted in cream white. They paired even the thin curtains with the wall colors.

"Why are you just standing there? Come inside," the girl was already at the front desk of the long table when she called their president.

Liechael approached the girl, and stood beside her. Everyone from the table stood up and bowed their heads as they all greeted. "Good morning, President Ross!"

That greeting stunned Liechael a little. He was like a real president at a company attending his early meeting. When they raised their heads, they looked at him. Also, he looked back at them alternately with a 'what?' expression written on his face.

Their vice president did the command since her president was still walking on the clouds. "Take a seat," everyone took their seats back. They flip their laptops open on the table and focus.

After realizing the very smooth management inside the student council office, Liechael was quite amazed. They are really waiting for his command to take their seats. When the atmosphere turned silent, the girl beside him wrote something on the whiteboard. She will take a glance at the male from the side of her eyes and then she will secretly snort.

"You can really take the seat, so that you can open your laptop just like them." She finally couldn't take it anymore, watching how the student council president turned dumb in a day.

Obediently, Liechael followed her and sat at the front chair of the long table. He also took his laptop out and flipped it open, just like the others. He saw an email that was sent to him by the name of their school. The male clicked the link and read the file.

The meeting only took 30 minutes. After that, everyone bid their goodbye and exited the student council office, leaving only the two of them.

When Liechael finished gathering his things, he glanced at the girl sitting at the front desk. He wanted to ask for her name, but didn't know how to open up a conversation. He locked himself up before for almost two months and everything that's happening right now was still a shock for him. He was still not used to talking freely like before, his eyes are still lifeless.

Although she was busy, she pulled the drawers below the desk and picked out a new yellow and white armband with a label—president. She threw it towards the male, which was quickly caught by Liechael. "Use that…" Her eyes squinted. "...And don't lose that again for the fifth time," she added.

"Thanks," Liechael put it around his right upper arm, below his armpit. Since the vice president initiated something that will lead them to another topic, he opened his lips and carved the question. "What's your name?"

The girl, who was sitting comfortably and was quite busy, paused. Her expression turned doubtful. "What?" she blurted out. "You're always nagging me every day and now you're asking for my name? Really, Chael?!" She snorted.

Liechael didn't look her in the eyes. He wanted to tell her that he was not the real owner of this body. He just woke up from the dead (probably?) with this identity. Liechael shrugged a little. 'She will never believe me if I said that,' he thought.

By calling him 'Chael', which is his nickname, this girl must be very close to him. Knowing that she was her vice president. He was trying to look at the other way when the girl jumped up from her seat and closed her laptop. "It's me...Lilith!" she snorted, pointing at herself.

Lilith Aphelion, 16 years old. The intelligent daughter of Aphelion Group. A company owning the highest and most upgraded technology in the City. Her family also sponsored their school with high-tech gadgets and devices.

'Lilith', Liechael thought. He bowed his head, "Nice to meet you," he then picked up his things and walked away, leaving Lilith with her jaws open.

The automatic door closed on its own, leaving a clunk sound that echoed inside the student council office. She slumped back in her seat, speechless. "What the heck happened to him?" Lilith mumbled to herself.

Usually, Liechael will nag her always right in the hallways. The male never helped her carry her things though, but earlier he grabbed the folders from her arms. Lilith put her hand under her chin and stared at the empty room. There was a big question mark floating on top of her head.

Before exiting the room, Liechael will usually smile at her so big while waving his hands and teasing her, but now, the male walked out quietly. 'Did he get a fever?'

Before she could waste another time reciprocating what's happening to the president, the bell rang. It was the time for the first subject of their class. Lilith hurriedly gathered all her things and dashed towards the door.

"The f*ck!!" the girl screamed after grabbing the door handle. She saw Liechael standing beside the entrance. His presence was so quiet that she almost sprang up. "I thought you had already left?! Geez!" She tapped her chest.

Liechael glanced at her with his hands in pockets. "The classroom," he mumbled.

Lilith leaned closer to him. "The what?" she asked again, crossing her arms.

The male tried his best to curve a force smile. "Can you accompany me to the classroom? I'm lost," he said.
