*Genji's POV
Things in the palace were getting even more complicated. Although Chaoxing and I saw each other, it was like we were becoming strangers while Jixia and Chaoxing were becoming best of friends. Never have I thought about it before. I thought Jixia would take my side but now I realize that she was hurt because she thought I killed Wu Ling.
While I am taking a walk in the palace, I come across Jixia who is sitting down alone near the pond. Now is the time. I must talk to her and explain that I didn't kill Wu Ling. Walking slowly, I come out from behind her, giving her no time to run away.
"Hi Jixia. I think we need to talk" I said diverting my eyes from hers.
"What are you doing here?" Jixia asked trying to stand up but I stop her.
