Menagerie Tower - Blake Belladonna
"So... This is the tower?" Blake asked, behind her is a red haired bull faunus with a Grimm mask covering his eyes. The bull faunus was her childhood friend named Adam Taurus, he turned to look at the tower and nodded to Blake, "Yes, Menagerie Tower to be exact. it's also the first tower to ever appear in Remnant, " Blake nodded, it's been what? eight years? seven? she didn't quite remember the date of when they appeared but what she does know is that when they first appeared half of the world's population had been wiped out.
Huntsman from every kingdom were sent to exterminate all creatures that are continuously pouring out from withn it's walls because of that Huntsman don't get to go home too often and it started wearing them down. To prevent that the kindoms decided to create a small settlement in every tower with entertainment and houses, walls were built and then four years later it turned into a thriving town with thousands of people living in it, With it came into existence the Menagerie Tower Settlement.
What was thought to be impossible happened and it succeeded, For years Grimm had been the major deterant for expansion but with the creatures of the Towers appearance aswell as the discovery that killing the creatures makes Human and Faunus stronger they had turned into pests that were easily slaughtered.
She hummed as she walked forward, Adam followed closely behind her his arm close to his weapon. She knows he still disliked humans but it's a far cry from what he was four years ago, infront of them was a large building, it's white marble walls gave it a sense of elegance and purity. The gold that decorate it. The Ascender Association was the name of the building, it was made specifically for Huntsman who climb the tower and clear it's floors. They walked inside of the building and saw a large amount of people wandering around the building, judging from the weapons that they have in their bodies they are Huntsman.
They walked towards the receptionist as she smiled, "Hello my name is Blake Belladonna and this is Adam Taurus," The receptionist smiled professionally, "Hello and welcome to the Ascender Association my name is Chloe, are you here to register?" Blake nodded, "Yes, we would like to register" Chloe hummed as she looked at the hologram beside her, she swiped her hand towards the side as a form appeared in it's place. she then enlarges the projection and placed it infront of Blake and Adam.
"Please put your names here aswell as your age so that I can put it in the system, you can also register your weapons incase you disappear inside the tower." Adam and Blake nodded and put their names in the form aswell as their weapons after that they paid a thousand Lein to finalize the registration. Chloe then handed them a card with their information written on it with a large letter F stamped on the top left of the card.
"This is proof that you are part of the Ascender Association, everything you will buy will be discounted by five percent but don't forget that this card expires in a month if you don't do a mission. Right now you are F ranked so you are only allowed to do F ranked missions on the mission board. To accept a mission all you have to do is to hover your card over the mission for three seconds, if you don't have anymore questions please have a nice day,"
Blake bade her farewell as they went to the mission board, "So Adam, what mission should we do?" She asked as Adam scanned the mission board, "With your current mastery of your Gambol Shroud you should be able to take out a Ursa Major, I remember that it's equal to a fire salamander that's on the third floor of the tower, So let's do this one," Adam pointed at a mission on the far corner of the board and saw a item gathering mission, it says that the client needs twenty fangs of fire salamanders.
Blake trusts Adam's opinion so she accepted the mission, "Let's go tomorrow, we still have to prepare rations for the mission" Blake nodded as they went to the marketplace to prepare their food for the trip, after that they went to find an inn to stay for the night.
