Chapter 5 - Chapter 4

"Have you heard the news? Your ex girlfriend has a new boyfriend already," Ethan, one member of Touch5, asks Gabrielle as they are resting from their dance practice that morning.

"Really? That's good," he just shrugged. It's been a couple of weeks since he last saw her.

Eventhough he knew he hurt her, it's still a daggering truth that he can't be with her anymore. She's been her inspiration, bur he can't be with her now. Yes, he still loves her, but because of what happened to him, he decided to leave her. His life is limited now and he doesn't want Shanelle to experience again the agony of being left forever by a loved one. It's better to hurt her now, than to hurt her more later when you're gone...forever.

"Are you sure you'll leave the band and be a police officer?" Ethan asked again.

"Yes. I wanted to atleast make my mom happy by doing what she wanted me to become," Gab said. Yes, he will leave Touch5 and be with his Captain of Police brother on the police force. He loves Touch5 and this is his dream, but then after what happened to him, he wanted to make his life more meaningful.

Ethan sighed and pats his shoulders then left him.

"So, you'll bring your boyfriend to the prom?" Jam asks Shanelle as they are walking to their next class.

"N-no...I mean...he's busy, so...yeah, I will not invite him," she said. She have no plan of inviting and bringing a ghost in the prom. Yes, she calls him ghost now because of his unexplainable popping out from her sketchpad.

"You sure? The eyes of the mob is on you now, you know. Well, even if you just let me meet him, I will appreciate that," he said grinning. He really wants to meet him. "After all, you didn't told me beforehand."

"I don't think that's a good idea. I told you he's---" she stopped as she saw Gabrielle walking to their direction. She noticed his shocked expression after seeing her also.

"Uh, oh. I guess, I'll...go ahead...first?" Jam said and zooms away from her even before she can stop her.

She sighed and looks at Gabrielle who's in front of her already. And yeah, he is still that hot, handsome and cool guy she knew. He's wearing his usual attire. His white T-shirt with Touch5 printed on it, his denim pants and his headphones placed on his neck. If she doesn't remembee wht he'd done and they are still together now, she might run to him and tell him she missed him so much. But, hell, no. Because they are of different worlds now.

"How're you Shan?" He asked to break the monotony.

Shanelle looks away. "Whatever is happening to me now, you don't have to care."

He nods. "Yeah, I know. You still hate me. I understand that."

"Of course you should know dochebag," she said calming herself from bursting into anger again.

"I'm happy because you found someone already. Be happy with him," he said smiling.

Gosh, I hate seeing him smile like that. She thought and looks up again directly into Gab's eyes. "He's a million times different from you. He won't use me for his own benefit. He is not selfish. And he won't play with my feelings," she fights her feelings not to cry. She shouldn't cry because of him anymore. And hell, not infront of him. "If you'll excuse me, I will go now. Oh, and I wish I won't see you around anymore." She walks past him and runs as her tears well up again. She can't understand her feelings. Everything about Gabrielle is a nightmare to her, but he's the only reason why she cries even just by seeing him.

She stops by the stairs s she saw a lot of girls gathered together as if they'd seen a celebrity. She wipes her tears and went to see what they're looking at.

"I'm here to look for someone" a familiar voice said that made her tilt her head. That voice seemed familiar. Isn't that voice from... Her eyes widened at the realization and runs to look at him.

"Ah, she's here," Chihoon said and walks towards her.

He's wearing a blue stripes polo shirt and black pants. His hair are cloloree blonde and his eyes are slightly covered with his bangs. I don't think he can be this cool, she thought.

"What are you doing here?!" She said quietly as though she didn't want anyone to hear her.

"Who is he? Is he your relative or something?" One girl from the crowd asked.

"A-ah? N-jo. I mean. He's just a neighb---"

"I'm her boyfriend. Prince Chihoon," he said and flips his hair that's covering his eyes.

A loud whispering are heard from the girls. She's sure they are cursing her again for having a cool guy again. And more, he just said he's her boyfriend.

"C'mon. Let's go," Shanelle said and pulled him away from everyone. She pushed him inside the car and sits at the driver's seat.

"Am I a dog or something?" He complained as he puts on his seatbelt. "You can't just pull a person like that, you know."

"And why did you even come here?! I told you to stay at home after buying your things!" She yelled as she drives the car.

"What? I thought you need a boyfriend to show everyone that you're not a loser? And one more thing, I need to meet other humans too. So, I need to go to school." He said and puts on his earphones.

Shanelle takes off the earphone from his left ear. "Don't you dare come to my school again, understand?"

"A human can make decisions for himself. And I'm a human, so you can't control me," he shrugged and goes out of the car as they arrived home.

She sighs. Yeah, I guess this can't be worked out with words. He doesn't even know how to listen to his creator, she thought and followed him.

"I did the groceries already. It's your turn to cook," Chihoon said and sits at the sofa and turns on the television.

And he even have the guts to tell me what to do? Gahh this ghost is really something.

She gets the remote and turns off the TV. "Go to my room. My dad might come anytime and he definitely can't see you here."

"What's wrong with that? Parents should meet their daughter's boyfriend," he tilts his head innocently at her.

She closed her eyes in annoyance then calmly looked at him again, stopping herself from shouting at him again. "Just do what I told you to do. He can't see you here," she pulls his hand to make him stand. "C'mon don't make everything hrd for me."

"Ok," Chihoon said in surrender then walks to the room.

"Sleep at the floor," Shanelle said as they are preparing to sleep that night. She throws to him her extra blanket and pillow together with her extra foam.

"Eh? Humans should sleep comfortably in bed. You really don't treat me as a human, eo?" He scoffed as he fixes the foam where he'll sleep.

"A guy and a girl should not sleep together on bed, unless they're married. That's what normal humans believe in," she scoffed back at him.

"Why? Are there even abnormal humans?" He asked as he looked at her while leaning on the bedside table.

"Yes there are. Wait, what on Earth really is the reason why you became a human? Are you a ghost or something? I mean...that's out of my imagination. You just you know, popped out of my sketchpad." She said looking back at him.

"Let's just say I came here to be your handsome prince," she shrugged and lays down.

"That's not it. I know there is a deeper explanation on that. C'mon tell me," she throws a pillow at him to make him awake.

Chihoon gets the pillow and hugs it. "I don't know. What I know was when you almost completely finished your sketch, I can already hear you. I can hear your cries and your complaints about life."

Shanelle slits her eyes as she's listening to him. "So, will you not return to where you came from again?"

"Goodnight," he just said and covers himself with a blanket.

Shanelle snorted. She just turns her back at him and takes a deep breath. She feels that there's something she should find out.
