It was a nice peaceful day at the Nyrheim National Bank. The sun was bright. The people were drinking their coffee while going about their usual. Somewhere throughout the day an orc appeared on the sidewalk by the bank. Cops came to apprehend him, but the orc refused to be taken in. He only answered that he was going to his bank to pull some money. The orc gradually made his way to the door only for bank's security guards to come out questioning why he was approaching their bank. Both the cops and the guards were yelling at the orc while waving their guns at him.
"Well that was easy" Vagron called in over his headsets as he sat in the lobby of the bank. The the guards at the bank were so fixated on Waateef outside that they were paying no mind to the security within the bank. A manager who was standing by a teller's desk watched as the guards and cops were dealing with Waateef until her neck was snapped. Kilkyl quickly spin her lifeless body around and snatched her badge. He then walked away as her body fell. Everybody was so preoccupied on Waateef that nobody realized Kilkyl's murder. Kilkyl, Zarz, and Rael all three used the manager's badge to enter the restricted area of the bank of which each threw on masks. Kilkyl wore an Ifrit mask. Zarz wore a Susanoo mask. While Rael wore an Odin mask.
Zarz lead the team through the halls of the bank the bank unchallenged for a while. The witnesses saw their masks and knew it was a heist. Eventually a few guards came out as Zarz's team came close to the main elevators which lead to the secret floors of management and supplies. The guards each held rifles against Zarz's team, but Kilkyl wielded no fret. He grabbed his axe and dashed across the hallway before the men could pull their triggers. Kilkyl sliced through the men as a fruit ninja, breaking their arms and kicking them through walls with ease. Rael and Zarz followed well behind Kilkyl walking over the bodies. Once at the steel door which lead to the elevator, Rael began growing and morphing his wooden swords around the steel door to loosen it. Once it was loosen enough, Zarz used his magic to pull the door out. Zarz called in over the radio that they had entered the elevator as Kilkyl used the key card to to head up to the supply floor.
Vagron had pulled the fire alarm and was heading over to let Lucas, Ponto and David in through the emergency door as he heard the bank call in that they have been overran by orcs. The people were panicking and running around looking for an exit. As Lucas came in with his mask of a Wolf Vagron headed out to assist Waateef. Ponto in the mask of a Hestia came in along side David in the mask of Bahamut following Lucas. Lucas pierced through and tore down the door leading to the back of the bank and made his way to the elevator. Vagron through on his mask as a raccoon and tossed some tear gas at Waateef's assailants. The cops were quickly affected by the tear gas whereas Waateef was immune. Waateef got up and ran inside of the bank with Vagron as they too then headed inside.
Zarz's team reached the floor of vaults and treasures. The bank had figured that the jewels were what the thieves were after and thus sent all of their guards to that floor. Kilkyl had no problem killing them all as he did by his lonesome with his axe. Zarz then asked Rael to guard him as he then began casting a spell inside of a smaller vault. Rael stood and watched the entrance to the vault as Zarz began encanting magical spells. Magic symbols then began appearing in the room around Zarz. Rael saw these symbols and recognized them as being incomplete speech to speak to the earth's forces. Meanwhile outside, mother nature's forces were at work. A storm brewed around the bank. Winds were tossing cars. Water was crushing buildings. people were dying. Nobody cared. Rael then head out and began using his magic to slice through guards just as Kilkyl was.
Lucas along with Ponto and David arrived at the managerial floor. The people were still working and going about their normal day believing no harm was coming to them. Lucas walked about carelessly mocking the entire floor for this belief. He then stated his intentions clearly. "I'm looking for Hank Bedlam" Lucas shouted. The entire floor sat scared of Lucas and is intimidating aura. Lucas then head around tracking down each supervisor questioning them on the whereabouts of Hank Bedlam, but nobody had answers. David read the people's aura as Lucas was questioning them and was able to tell they were telling the truth. Waateef jumped up the elevator shaft and ripped it open with one hand while holding Vagron in his other hand to join Lucas on the floor. "No luck" Lucas said, but Vagron then suggested to line the people up.
Kilkyl and Rael were packing jewels in their clothes as Zarz's team got a call from Lucas to head to the managerial floor. The three rejoined on the elevator and quickly headed to the managerial floor before the storm could calm down.
Zarz's team entered the managerial floor and began wondering around. Lucas alongside David who could detect lies was questioning each person one by one. Rael saw this was pointless and began wondering around. "Can I go in here" shouted Rael to which one of the captives yelled that "there is nothing in there". This sparked Lucas' attention. "Why are you so sensitive about this room" asked Lucas with a firm sarcastic grin, "You know he's just a child"? "He is no child and there is nothing in there" the man yelled. David detected it was all lies. Lucas dragged the man into the office and began asking for Hank Bedlam, but the man only denied knowing anything. David stood there smiling relaying that the man is lying. Rael was looking through the desk for any clues while putting all paperwork on top of the desk. Vagron then came in and began reading through some of the papers Lucas. It appeared as though there was a lot of movement going through the island from the North East continent. Rael only continued to search with his eyes only widening as he searched through the drawers. Rael eventually found the man's ledger and handed it over to Lucas. Lucas read through to find that the man had been working with Hank Bedlam for quite some time and still does to this day. The question was the location. Was Hank located in the islands or the North East continent? Lucas attempted to interrogate the man some more, but failed. "We are running out of time" yelled Zarz in his now weakened state. Lucas took the lost. Lucas drew his sword and sliced off the man's head. Rael saw the man get decapitated by Lucas and saw the spell being released. Rael now knew just what they were after, but he had to admit that it was more than he could probably chew.
Rael set the managerial floor on fire as the team escaped. The team did not know where Hank Bedlam was, but they had a general idea. Lucas read through the ledger and figured that Hank was at the North East continent somewhere. Regardless they would have to go through the islands to get there. So the team utilized the storm for a safe escape and boarded a boat heading to the islands. Lucas was happy by the success of the raid, but was pissed that their target is even further. However, he was grateful by the safety of his teammates. But one question rested on Zarz's mind. how did Rael know to go into that office? When Zarz had analyzed the office further, he had realized there was an avoidance spell on it meant to make people other than the caster avoid it. But the man was telling a lie when he said that Rael was not a child. Zarz's suspicion for Rael grew, while David he knew whether the man was lying or not decreased in any faulty suspicion towards Rael.
