I didn't expect that Pentagram City would be utterly chaotic, its a mush up of medieval age and modern age, you can see a European castle next to a skyscraper. Even the houses and apartment looks so off.
I almost got tricked by a bunch of imps, and they look like children so you'll never know if they are adults thankfully Codex told me to never trust any demon even the succubus Charl.
I kept Codex advise at heart, since this world is not for beginners. I can see a giant snake like man fighting a three eyed girl carrying grenades and dynamites. They are actually trying to kill each other.
Charl told me that those two are fighting for territory, It seems once the cleansing arrives countless demons dies permanently and the once territories owned, are now up for grabs.
She even told me to join in too, to cement my authority in Pentagram City, Codex agreed with her and I don't agree with them, come on! I was sent here for like 12 hours ago and first thing to do is to become famous?!
Though I'm quite impressed seeing different kind of monster girls, real life monster girls are quite amazing. I looked at the arachne and she looks at me back, she looks at me in a flirting manner, when I was about to smile back she began chomping on someone's head, blood splattered to her body.
I got scared for a bit and hid behind Ms.Charl, there are times when some imps and gremlins try to steal from us, also some demons who wants to assault Charl. Thanks to Codex I acted as her bodyguard.
A few minutes later that feels like years we finally arrived at the hotel. Pentagram hotel, it looks like a mash up of European castle and modern skyscrapers and it is shaped like a fork.
How do they make this kind of establishments? Pentagram city is fucked up in more ways than one. I can hear screams, cries and explosions everywhere!
As we enter the hotel a single person opened the giant metallic door.
"Oh its you Charl. Did you get the ingredients?"
"Yeah Alastor I got em."
"Hmmmmmm. This is a first, everytime you return you should be covered with semen or blood and naked."
"Now that's a surprise!"
The demon who talks to Charl had a horse skull with antlers, he wears what it looks like a uniform of a hotel butler.
"Oh and also you brought a costumer too! great! this Godforsaken hotel finally has a costumer!"
"Quite interesting appearance though your halo is black and white also your horns you even have two tails of opposite color and it even has halo's circling around it, even the clothes, are you some kind of checkerd demon?"
"Ah...." before I could talk Codex interrupted me.
"YOU FOOLISH DEMON! KNEEL DOWN TO THE GREAT MASTER!" Before he could continue I caught Codex and closed him immediately before he makes any more troubles.
Codex is the reason why we took so long to arrive, he pissed off countless demons along the way and forced me to fight them.
"This hotel is quite nice..." As I go near the reception I saw a girl a dazzling and beautiful girl, blonde hair slightly tanned skin and she has a spear that looks like an axe. She has angel wings and she looks like extremely pissed for some reason.
As I approach her, she gave me some death glares, as I was about to get close Charl appeared.
"Mar!" Charl hugged the angel so tight I can see her hands tapping.
"You are perfectly fine?!"
"Yes...I am, thanks to Mr.Sol."
The angel looked at me with perplexed face, and began staring at me. Oh god she's so beautiful, Its like I just want to give her my everything.
"S.....o...l.....sol......MR.SOL!"
"WAIT! WHAT? WHERE?!" I was brought back to reality, it seems I lost myself as I was staring at her.
"Mr.Sol this is Martiel a fallen angel she works as a receptionist in this hotel."
"You call this a hotel? this is empty as fuck!" There goes my image of a lovely angel.
"So you are the demon who saved our dear little Charl, this is a first, seeing a demon saving someone, are you sure, you are not planning to turn her into you sex slave or something?"
She looks at me with dreadful killing intent, I think I'm about to pee.
"Her? becoming my master's slave?! Unthinkable! he don't need impure beings such as her or YOU!" Codex began talking again, and I immediately shut him tight.
"Hooooo. a talking grimore...and a checkered demon.....so you are one of those wizards who cast out their humanity for power then?." no I'm not miss Martiel, I better lie for now.
"Ah yes?....." I was sweating and admiring her beautiful face and figure at the same time.
"If I was still an angel, I would kill you here and now, you are lucky."
"So, Charl is he gonna book a room here or he is just another of those drunkards just want to go to the bar?"
"I don't know yet.....That's why I want to bring Mr.Sol to the manager."
"To Luciela?, fair enough, he is probably some errand boy for some Ancient Demon Royalty anyways."
"No.......Mar, Mr.Sol isn't affiliated to any demonic royalty or faction."
Mar looks at me with wide eyes, she looks even more cuter, I want to pinch her cheeks.
"My this is a SURPRISE!!!!" The demon butler earlier, I think his name is Alastor just butt in to our conversation.
"How strong are you? I'm extremely strong you know."
"What's your favourite dish? Mine is human flesh with oyster sauce."
"How many demons have you killed or enslaved? Mines too many to count! HAHAHAHA!"

The demon Alastor kept on asking me things, I only answered a few but then Charl finished talking to Martiel and brought me to a luxurious looking room.
It was actually the managers office, It seems the manager is taking a bath, While I was waiting, I was asking Codex on what to do next, but this stupid book keep insisting me to cement my authority and power to the 9 circles.
As I was planning to burn Codex with a candle, the large doors slowly opened and what I saw made my jaw drop.
