"No way! I am not going to let you do that!" Daisy maintained.
"Why not? This is the only way I can help Cindy," I argued back.
"So you want to help her by killing yourself?"
"I will not die. All you have to do is get me to the hospital before then. I need to speak to Olivia. This is the only way. I have to be unconscious to be able to see her."
It was Saturday morning. I have been having this conversation with Daisy for the past two hours and she just would not give in. Something needed to be done. Cindy was putting her trust in me. I couldn't let her down. I spent the whole night worrying about Cindy.
"No. I will not let you get overdosed with drugs just because you want to save Cindy. What if I lose you?"
"You won't. I promise. Just do this for me."
"No."
"Please Daisy."
