"Can I talk you for a second?" Mia said. At first, I thought she was talking to Laila, until Laila said while patting my shoulders, "Meet me at the cafeteria when you are done."
I wanted to ask what she was talking about but I saw Mia looking straight at me. What on earth does she want to talk about?
"Mia. What is it? Do you suddenly regret abducting me and beating the hell out of me? That is definitely not the case, so what is it?" I questioned.
"Lily...," she started but I stopped her halfway, "Keep my name out if your filthy mouth. I think I know what this is about. You must have found out about the evidence I now have against you and you are here to beg me!" I did not realize how angry I was until those words started to spew of my tongue.
"Now, if you will excuse me. I have better things to take care of," I walked past her almost pushing her down as she staggered to maintain balance.
