"Hey Lily," Ivy called from the door. I was so immersed in the current document I was working on until I heard her call.
"Hey Ivy, what's up?" I asked casually, since we have all became friends.
"The HR manager needs you in her office," she said.
"Okay. I will go see her now," I said. Ivy nodded and walked towards her desk. I minimized the work and left for the HR manager's office. I wondered why she wanted me in her office. Was I in trouble?
I walked past Mia who was sitting in her usual spot, without sparing her a glance.
"I was told you needed to see me," I said immediately I went into the Dragon's office. She had gone back to being mean like she used to be. Rumor had it that she was pregnant, this was why she suddenly became hostile. Others said it had something to do with her marriage, it is said that she was having some issues with her husband. Whatever the reason was, it had changed her.
