"Mia had nothing to do with what happened to Lily," Daisy deadpanned. Daisy knew Lily never told Laila about the other part of her life. She kind of felt special that she was the only one that knew all about Lily's life.
"How are you so sure?" Laila asked. This time, Daisy ignored her.
"Mia!" Daisy called, this time patting Mia's shoulder.
Mia jumped in fear. She must have been really out of it, for her to not notice Daisy and Laila had been standing in front of her.
"I swear I didn't do it," Mia broke down immediately.
"I know you didn't. I want you to help me out, will you?"
