Milo had asked Lily to meet him in his office during the lunch break. He had also invited Cindy. He asked the HR manager to tell Saddam to see him in his office.
"So what's up?" Cindy asked as she sat on one of the chairs.
"Lily is not here yet. The truth is I am not even expecting the guy to honour my invitation," Milo sighed.
There was a knock on the door and Milo answered, "Come in."
Lily entered, giving Cindy a hug and sat on the chair next to her.
"Lily, you look good," Cindy complimented.
"So do you," Lily smiled.
Milo rolled her eyes at the two ladies. He was rolling his eyes more frequently these days. It was probably because he spends a lot of time with Lily.
"You took your sweet time," Milo said.
"I had to finish up with the files I was working on. Besides, he isn't even here yet," Lily defends.
