"You girlfriend has been waiting outside. Should I ask her to come in?" The first nurse asked.
Milo knew the only person they would refer to as his girlfriend was Lily. Maybe she was the one that brought him to the hospital. Milo nodded gently, to avoid hurting himself even more.
Lily flew inside seconds later, "Thank goodness you are awake. Oh my God," Lily cried.
"What happened to you?" Lily asked.
"Shouldn't I be the one to ask that question? What happened to me? Did you by any chances hit my head with a brick?" Milo joked.
Lily laughed at his attempt to make a joke out of the situation.
"The patient needs to rest. I would advice you wait outside while he takes a nap," the second nurse said to Lily.
"I am fine. I am good. I just want her by my side. Trust me, that will make me feel better," he winked at Lily upon saying that.
