Daisy rushed back to the city when she heard Lily was awake. They have been inseparable ever since. Lily's mom fainted out of shock and only woke up after Lily woke up. She was still on bed rest. Lily was lucky Daisy was here to attend to her because her father couldn't have been able to do all these things Daisy was doing. Especially in the aspect of companionship.
Lily needed someone to talk to after being in that forest for a long period of time. Her father would not understand what Lily has been through. Lily was very sure her mother did not tell him about the nightmares or even their stories from the past. That man was clueless.
Lily told Daisy every little thing that happened there. Daisy couldn't help in any way rather than provide a listening ear to Lily. It infuriates her that she couldn't do anything about the whole thing.
