It was a boring day at work, since there was no much work to do. I was staring at my computer while memories of yesterday's event flashed on mind. After Cindy's father came in, Milo and I had left. The ride back home was quiet. I sent him a text afterwards to tell him not to bother picking me up this morning. It would have been very awkward.
"Lily."
It was Ziko. He strolled in and stopped at my desk. He was the last person I expected to be talking to me. We still have not talked after the incidence.
"Can we talk please?" He asked.
I noticed that few eyes had turned in our direction, one of which included Celia's. She was gawking at Ziko. Ever since Ziko's return, I noticed how she gets flirty with him at meetings and find every reason to get close to him. Was she not aware that Ziko had a girlfriend? Did Ziko want to pretend he did not know about Celia's interest in him?
