West followed her movements. She raised her hands to her face, rubbing her eyes, as she started to cry. At least, Evelina attempted to. It was all good since she was covering her face.

She needed to be seen, did she not?
Deciding against her previous action, she lowered her hands a bit, curling it on her cheeks, just enough small movement for her eyes to be revealed. "Perhaps I was a fool, but you did not have to leave me! Please! You have to stay by my side."
Her eyes traveled to West, sitting at the edge of her bed. His face held no emotion. He was merely observing her.
It made her even more nervous.
She allowed her voice to tremble. "I… I am nothing without you."
