Slowly, Lysa eyelids tremble before start open and purple pupil came into view. Lysa blinked for a few times before memories from before surfaced on her mind. She just made a discovery and because of her accumulated emotional outburst, she became tired and immediately went to sleep on the ground.
Lysa tiredly lifted her body off the ground and scanned the room for a toilet. Finding the bathroom, Lysa went to it and washing the fatigue from her face. Getting chased by a tiger and stayed wake for half-day surely take a toll on her body. After feeling herself being freed from the fatigue, Lysa decides to check the outside situation. The tight black window was preventing any light or sound coming from the outside.
Lysa walked to the window is and opened it. She was already preparing by closing her eyes incase the sunlight would blind her once again, but instead of hateful sunlight, she greeted by the breeze of winds. Her silky purple blackish hair is swaying beautifully because of it. Her eyelids fluttered to open slowly.
A scenery of a beautiful bright city on the darkness came into her vision. It turns out the sky already dark and many households already lit up their lamps. She looked at the lower ground and many people passed by her house. Unknowingly, a faint bitter smile surfaced on her face. It as if she has seen this kind of sight somewhere.
She patted her cheeks to brush all her thought and went inside without closing the window. Although a room full of darkness was suitable for her, she kind of like this view more. Despite being aware that Elder Tonpa would do his utmost to help her gain an opportunity to test her blood on Blood Monolith, Lysa didn't want to rely on him entirely. Without a doubt, she also needed some secondary plan and now having nothing to do would be the best time for her.
But without a guide, how can she awaken her power? Currently she could only use a brute force to fight. But Elder Tonpa said that physical strength was only a secondary thing that got boosted by Blood Monolith. The Primary one was its bloodline and with your bloodline stimulated, you will be able to gain supernatural power. But without knowledge how can she do that? She didn't even know what power she possessed.
Then a thought surfaced on her mind.
If she wasn't wrong, Elder Tonpa said there was a library here.
"Should I head there?" Lysa contemplated for a moment before decisively nodded her head inwardly; hence with that thought Lysa immediately went to the window and closed it. Even though she yet got an item placed on the house, having a thief sneaking into your home was quite a terrible experience. Well, if there are people that dare break into her house, she wouldn't mind making that person tasting a good beating.
Leaving the house, Lysa didn't bother Elder Tonpa and immediately went away. She didn't go in an urgent manner but slowly strolled. On the way, she would keep stopping to ask the passerby about library direction. Of course, some men would try to approach her, but Lysa swiftly rejects their intentions with some excuses. Indeed, having beauty has its advantages and disadvantages.
After walking for almost a half-hour, Lysa finally arrived in front of the so-called Library. She eyed the building in front of her that didn't resemble the library at all. Why? Its because the building size was so small. Even she who didn't have any experience regarding building can feel that the Lewin City Library quite pitiful. Its size only about the triple size of the place Lysa currently stayed in. Lysa shook her thought off and stepped toward the entrance.
Grabbing the handle of the door, Lysa slowly opened it. As expected from the small library, after entered it, Lysa immediately greeted by a sight of less than ten bookshelves. Lysa didn't complain though since Elder Tonpa said that Lewin City could be considered as a small city. She even felt fortunate that such a small town could have a library.
While Lysa immersed in her thought, a person noticed her and immediately approached her.
"H-Hello." A timid voice broke Lysa thought. She swiftly turned to the voice owner and startled. Unexpectedly, the one who greeted her was a little boy age around ten.
"Hello." Lysa smiled friendly. After interacting with many people today, Lysa could even smile naturally toward people. If it were before, she would most likely only nod toward the boy greeting.
"Is there anything I can help you, big sister?" The boy sighed of relief seeing the woman before him doesn't seem a typical arrogant woman.
"Are you really the person in charge?" Lysa asked in a tone of doubt. Isn't the Lewin City way too lack of an adult man to handle a matter like this?
The boy stunned first at the question before scratched his head embarrassedly, "Its usually big brother Lyon who in charge, but since he needs to attend an important matter, I volunteered myself to replaced him temporarily."
"Hmmm..." Lysa vaguely replied.
"Okay then, can I look around?" Lysa asked the boy with a smile.
"Yes, yes, please!" The boy bowing and stretched his hand out to beckon Lysa forward like a gentleman.
Though Lysa loses her memory, a gesture like this still unknowingly familiar to her, so she chuckled a little seeing the boy acts like a gentleman despite his small figure. The boy getting more embarrassed by the chuckled that comes out from the Lysa mouth, but what can he do? The deed already is done, so he could only swallow his embarrassment and silently gritted his teeth.
Lysa didn't tease the boy anymore and goes straight to the bookshelves. Maybe because there were only a few bookshelves that exist, all the books were in clean shape. She randomly picked up a book, then a thought crossed on her mind. Lysa face immediately went weird and the fingers that held the book slowly loosened.
'It can't be right?' Lysa silently thought.
Lysa closed her eyes and silently prayed. The boy who all this time watching Lysa actions only frowned slightly before returned to his usual self.
A few seconds passed, Lysa finally opened her eyes and a determined were evident on her eyes. She grabbed the book and flipped it to see whether her prayers were granted or not.
And the result is, "Best Dishes of Lewin Town" came into his vision. Lysa didn't change the book but remained silent. Only after a few seconds passed by once again that her soul finally returned to her body.
"Thank God I managed to read. If I can't read it, what would I do?" Lysa held the book tightly on her embrace as if it was the best treasure in the world.
Earlier, Lysa was nervous as hell remembering the fact that she loses her memory. She was thinking if a loss memory would resulting in which she couldn't read. It turns out she still can read despite losing memory.
Even though Lysa spoke to herself in a faint voice, the boy still could hear her voice and immediately the corner of his mouth twitched hearing that.
