Chapter 19 - Element Test

"This is the Element test." Xen stated quite simply as Xen took out a piece of paper.

The pair were currently in a field sitting down beside each other on a nice sunny day, there was abundant floral around them that smelt similar to honey, the overall mood was pleasant.

"Element test?" Tym's face scrunched up slightly.

"Yes, usually they're quite expensive but I was lucky enough to happen upon them.." Xen replied with a smile filled with deceit. Of course he had gotten the papers from the now ruined city.

Xen handed one of the papers that he had to Tym and explained to him how to use them which was to simply inject some of his mana into it. At a young age all humans naturally knew how to use mana but they would usually never get past this point.

As Tym injected his mana into the paper, a picture began to form on it. The picture was a realistic looking purple sunset with no clouds to be seen.

"Good!" Xen nodded with approval. "You have the Purple Light element, it's quite rare." Xen smiled.

The Purple Light element was a rare element as it was a mix between two; Poison and Light. At the highest level it would enable the user to permanently make stars emit a high powered radiation poisoning that could kill planets. At the lowest level it could turn a few particles purple during the day.

Xen took out one of his papers and used it himself, he almost instantly frowned.

What appeared upon the paper was a newborn baby with a poopy diaper crying. The element was obvious, Xen had gotten Life.

The Life element enabled one to revive anything when it was at its highest capacity. There was also no definitions set for life, it just meant specifically the concept of life. If your Sword breaks and this dies and you want to bring it back to life, it could easily be done. At its lowest level it would be able to have a slight chance to make babies smile more.

"What's wrong with your element, master?" Tym asked with puppy dog eyes.

"Ah.. you see.. to train this element is a pain. Each element have their own way to be trained and a maximum capacity, mine is quite hard to reach and takes a while to train. Of course there is ways to go past the maximum capacity, but it's quite rare to happen upon." Xen replied with a frown.

Tym shrugged his shoulders. "What's so wrong with that? Knowing how strong you are, it shouldn't be hard for you to train, right?"

'This kid really believes in me..' Xen's face twitched.

"Uh.. yeah. Anyway, seeing that this is your element we should start training. Be aware, it will be quite painful, you will have to become resistant to as many poisons as possible!" Xen replied with a grin. He knew exactly how terrible the training was for this element and he was going to bask in this kid's pain.

Tym had an indifferent expression, it was as if he had no clue how difficult training was. The only training he had known so far was harsh muscle strengthening and learning other specific skill sets, he thought he had trained quite hard already, this new training was going to be an eye opener.

"Come Tym, we will gather some of the various poisons from the forest, I will then make a special elixir just for you!" Xen said cheerfully, he had to put himself in a good mood somehow.

"Yes master!" Tym smiled brightly as he got up from his spot.
