Underneath the type writer was an envelope and a ream of paper.
Jareth reached in and took the envelope.
On the front Jareth's name was written in elegant gold letters on the back was a wax stamp in solid gold wax were the letters BG.
Jareth went to break the wax seal but it didnt break.
confused Jareth looked closer and peeled the wax stamp off and realized it was solid 24k gold.
His mouth hung open as Jareth looked upon the precious metal stamp in his hand that was probably worth at least $100.
"who could afford to be so free with money?" he asked the empty room.
Not waiting for a reply; He opened the envelope and took out the card that it contained.
In the same elegant gold writing were the words "May your words give life to many worlds" signed "Big G"
Jareth had never actually used a type writer.
Actually most 25 year olds didn't even know what a type writer was.
Jareth picked the machine up and moved it to his desk and sat it next to his laptop.
Jareth googled how to use a type writer and was pretty sure he could do this.
Jareth retrieved the ream of paper from the box and carried it over to the type writer.
He grabbed a piece of the thick paper and and fed it into the machine like he had seen in the videos then cranked the knobs until the paper looped through and peaked out of the top as it clicked with each turn.
"Click Tap Click Tap Click Tap"
Golden letters bloomed across the page with each key stroke.
Jareth's fingers were gliding across the keys of the ancient looking type writer.
The sounds the machine made with each letter was music in Jareth's ears.
"Goliath stood on the edge of Sun Mountain and looked out on the world.
He took a deep breath the cool mountain air and began to run towards the cliff and dove off."
The words quickly apeared on the page stamped in beautiful gold letters; they flowed so freely from this strange typewrite and Jareth felt amazing he hadn't felt this inspired in the last year.
