I walked to the graveyard with an arrangement of flowers in my hands. I squatted down and placed them on my Aunt and Uncle's grave, I said a few words, and had a moment of silence before standing up to wipe the tears away. Even though it's been 5 years, it still hurts. Uncle Tom died 2 years after Aunt Sabine from food poisoning. Shon went to college during that time because I told him to go anyway. I told him I would wait for him here. I sought comfort from Kori and Ian at that time because they never left.
I continued to work at my Aunt's flower shop, which now belongs to me. Kori got into a fashion designer store and she ranked up to the top very quickly. Ian, who loves the water, got a job as a fisherman and became the best in the state. "I guess the fish can't resist his charm." That's what all of his work buddies say anyway.
Today Shon was coming back from graduating college as a boat mechanic. I walked back to my house, which had become mine and Shon's over the years, and made myself some apple cider. Fall was in the air as I walked outside and sat on the sand as I drank my cider. Curtis laid by my feet as I drank. I was still outside, the empty mug beside me, as he ran up to me and hugged me from behind. I turned around and kissed him and he picked me up and twirled me around. Curtis danced and barked as he ran in circles around us. Ceon was doing great in high school as a freshman, and he still comes by to spend time with me. He takes care of his mother while Shon and Kori live in other places.
"Good day?" I asked as Shon put me on the sand and petted Curtis.
"Yes, but it's going to get even better soon."
I looked at him puzzled as I picked up my empty mug. "What do you mean?"
He smiled brightly as he took my hand and led me inside, Curtis at our heels. He placed my mug in the sink. And lead me to his truck. I got in, smiling.
"Shon what are you doing?"
He started the truck, kissed my hand as an answer, and held it as he drove. Curtis panted in the back as Shon rolled down the window so he could stick his head out into the windy air.
"Shon?" I asked, looking out the front window.
"Just go with it, okay?"
I nodded as I watched where he was taking us. I didn't expect to go on a road trip as soon as he got back. He drove us to a shore on the beach. It looked private because no one was there or it was because it was late, from the setting sun, painting the sky colors of pink, purple, and red. There were candles and rose petals scattered across the sand. Shon opened the door and helped me out, then let Curtis out. Shon led me to a place where red candles shaped as a heart was, his smile never leaving his face as I followed behind cluelessly. He walked us to the middle of the heart and started to speak.
"Lyr…." He huffed a laugh. "Where do I start with you? You've been there since day one and you helped me out a lot. Even with that bike accident when we were kids. I have always loved you. And now that I know everything about you, I'm not scared for what the future holds for us."
I looked at him and smiled.
"We have been through thick and thin, and we never lost each other, and that's when I knew I needed you in my life forever."
He kneeled down as he pulled a box from his pocket and opened it. It revealed a diamond and light blue jewel. The ring had a dolphin tail which held the blue jewel in place where the two fins met. It also had gold covered leaves all around it, each leaf had a diamond next to it which represented a flower. I covered my mouth in shock. Shon looked at me.
"If you'll let me, I want to be the one who protects you, your light, and your comfort in your life. I want to always be there for you. I want to be the one you go to get comfort and stupid, silly things from. I just want to be here for you. I love you Lyr. Syren or not. You have always been there for me all the time and I want to return the favor. Will you marry me Lyr?"
I nodded my head as tears brimmed my eyes. "Yes!" I said as he stood and put the ring on my finger and kissed me. Curtis was running in the water while we were having our moment. He held me in his arms as he sat down on the sand, me on his lap. We watched the sun set and stayed to watch the stars. He then drove us all home, and we went to bed, very happy.
November was when we started to get ready for the wedding. Shon and I discussed where it would be, who would be coming, decorations, and whatnot. We came down on having a Disney World wedding at Magical Kingdom. We made the reservations, then got everything else ready.
The wedding day came 15 days later. Everyone arrived and the bridesmaids got in their light blue dresses with a lace pattern at the top. They had matching makeup and bunned hair. The groomsmen wore white suits with a gold tie that had leaf patterns on it, and a gold handkerchief. They stood together and waited for the groom to reveal himself from the dressing room. Shon wore a white princely suit that had gold encased at the jacked edges and had a gold chain and a gold tie, along with a gold handkerchief. He awaited his bride by the white carriage that would take them to the wedding, then to the party after the wedding. Minutes later, I came out dressed in a white lace dress with an ombre of blue to purple at the bottom, the dress also had pink flowers surrounding the bottom and they dissipated as they climbed higher up the dress. I also wore matching makeup with a braided messy bun and white laced heels.
Shon stared amazed at me as I made my way to the carriage. He opened the door and helped me in, joining me on the other side. The carriage had white hearts, and vines crawling all around it like Cinderella's.
"You look amazing, my princess." he said as he kissed my palm.
I blushed and responded, "You look quite charming yourself, my prince."
He smiled and the carriage started off to the wedding area. Everyone was there when we arrived. The priest, guests, bridesmaids, and groomsmen. Shon got out and made his way up the aisle as I got out of the carriage with a bouquet of blue, purple, pink, and white flowers. The Disney Castle was in the background of the flowered arch where the priest and Shon waited. White picnic chairs seated the guests with flowered pillars holding lights across them to make it magical. Flower petals littered the aisle as people stood and turned to look at me as I made my way up. Orchestrated music played and the Castle turned colors to match the theme. I reached my spot as the priest started to talk and we said our vows. I gave Shon his wedding ring which was black and had gold in the middle which intertwined to make a pattern in the middle. Shon gave me mine and we said our "I do's."
The priest then said a few words before saying, "You may now kiss the bride." Shon looked at me amazed as we leaned in and kissed each other deeply. Everyone cheered and tears were shed. We walked down the aisle and I threw my flowers. Kori caught them so that meant her and Ian's wedding was next. The carriage led us to the party area for dinner and dancing. We were the last to arrive; everyone was talking and having fun. When we arrived everyone had their seats and fancy Carribian food was served. Ian stood up and got everyone's attention by clinging his knife against his wine glass.
"I would like to say a few words to the man of the hour." He guestered and smiled at Shon. "It feels like it was only yesterday when we started as freshmen in high school. But we all grew up and look at us now, still together. Such a blessin'. Now we are even related, crazy! I met Shon when we were in preschool and we knew we were distended to be. My greatest memory of him is when he came to my house, and he looked very urgent. He even scared Kori off the couch! But it was just ya comin' to ask us for help and stuff for ya proposing to ya girl. Good thing she said yes in the end. Ya two are sweet, I'll give ya that."
Ian continued and people laughed occasionally and when he was finished he sat down and Kori rose.
"My turn!" she looked at me sternly, yet jokingly. "You better take care of him and Curtis!"
I laughed and nodded.
"Good. Even though you take care of them more than they do to be honest… Anyway! Lyly was always the best person for anything, such a mom even at her age. She was just like her Aunt, and everyone could see that in her. I'm glad she has my brother as her husband, I don't want any man breaking her heart. She gave the best advice and rolled with all of our stupid fun things we always did together. I will never forget any of the moments we spent together. And now to think she's becoming my sister in law! Who could imagine? Now I can bug you whenever, and you can always babysit Ceon." she continued her speech and had the same reaction as Ian's.
We ate once she was finished, until it was time to cut the cake. We were eating in the Pirates of the Caribbean restaurant so we had water flowing and vines and fairy lights hanging from the ceiling. The cake was a black and white one with matching colored flowers climbing one side of the 7 layered different flavored cake. I let Shon do all the hard work because it was a thick and difficult cake to cut. We had the cake then it was time to dance. Shon and his mother did their dance, I had no father figure so I didn't do mine, then it was Shon's and I's dance.
We slowly danced until the song called "Never be Alone" finished. We kissed before the party music started to play. Of course we had to play "Cupids Shuffle'' and "Cha Cha Slide", and other group songs. We also played "Tequila" and everyone got the words right. We danced some more until it was time to go home. People came in to clean the place as we left to go to our suite in the Disney Castle. When we got to our room Shon went to undress, I also undressed and put on transparent black laced lingerie clothes. I kept the wedding band on my thigh for Shon to take off, then I sat on a chair and waited for Shon. He got out of the bathroom, stripped, and looked at me, then smirked. I had him sit on the chair and I gave him a long, enjoyable, sexy lap dance. Twerking, humping, grinding, and stroking were all key elements in my dance. Once I was finished I sat on Shon's lap and made out with him deeply as I continued to grind on him. Our kisses were slow, deep, and wet. He wanted more so he held my head closer to his as he started to suck on my tongue. I groped his bare chest.
He picked me up and also squeezed my butt as he led me to the big beds. He forcefully threw me on the bed and took off the wedding band with his mouth. He left for a few minutes then came back with handcuffs and rope. The smirk never left his face. He handcuffed me as I marked his upper chest. He backed off the bed, and took off my clothes. Then he replaced them with rope as he tied me down to the bed.
He began to suck my breasts as he fingered me. Milk soon left them and liquid exited my titty as he drank my milk. Once I couldn't give anymore he went down to my kitty and licked and sucked there, squeezing my butt as well. I moaned and gasped occasionally. Once he had his fill he repositioned himself behind me and put his dick in my butt, which lead to anal, and he marked my neck and upper chest while he did that. After a while he stopped again and moved to look at me as he sat on top of me and stuck his dick in between my breasts and jerked himself off using those for his hands. He kissed me deeply while he warmed himself up, and I touched his body gently with my finger tips.
He lowered back down after a while and finally stuck himself inside me. We both moaned and gasped at this pleasure as liquid both entered us.
"That's a good girl, let me hear your voice," Shon teased. He slapped my butt, then stroked it gently after causing me to use my voice. He licked my neck, "That's a good girl. Daddy is pleased."
We continued this for quite awhile. When we were done, he untied me, cleaned up, and carried me to the tub to wash ourselves and have another round. We complemented each other during the session, and cleaned ourselves once done with round two. The tub had a star lit roof and tiled walls that showed Cinderella's story. Shon dried us off then carried me to bed as we slept asleep together, naked.
We woke up and spent the whole week in the Park for our honeymoon. The place was rented out so it was only us, Ian, and Kori, which was nice. Once the week was finished we headed back to our house, as newlyweds.
