"Oww!" Ashley exclaimed and rubbed the top of her head when a thick book dropped itself above her.
She wasn't sure if she had a minor fracture on the head but she had to admit... The book was really heavy.
Ashley cast down her gaze to the book that bounced on the floor. The book was about the size of a photo-album. It was quite big making Ashley grimace that this thing actually landed on her head.
She crouched to pick up the thick book and place it back to where it came from but her hand stopped mid-air when she saw the contents of the book which was parted on one of its middle pages.
Tons of life-like sketches of creatures and objects greeted her eyes. Faints colored descriptions with fine details on the strokes, greeted her eyes. She had completely forgotten what he had intended to do and instead, held the book in her hands, staring at the sketches with awe apparent in her eyes.
