Shedinja would be the most helpful in the coming tide. It was only weak to flying, rock, ghost, fire, and dark type. If it could avoid such Pokemons, it would be immortal. However, status-type moves did have an effect on it so it should be careful. There were also some Pokemon that could use those 5 type attacks even if they were not those types.

Nidorino was a poison type so it was strong against grass type and it also resisted grass. That would come in handy when fighting grass type. It was also bulky and had a good defense.

Beedrill was also strong against grass type so it was good. It also had a good defense like Nidorino. It could also use String shot in the battle to control its environment.

Gyarados had high attack power. It was a water type and was weak against grass type but it had good defense and high attack. It could last a long in the tide.

Ivysaur would be the healer of the group. It could use Leech seed to heal its fellow members. It also had good grass-type coverage to deal a lot of damage.

Alakazam was the strongest of the group. It was also a psychic type Pokemon. Its insights would be the most valuable. Its psychic attacks would be devastating in the Pokemon tide.

Piloswine was at the rare rank but it was on the verge of ranking up to elemental rank. It was meant to rank up but was stopped by Axel to meet the rank-up conditions. It was an ice and ground type Pokemon and had good area effect attack moves which would be good to deal damage to a large number of Pokemons in the tide.

Charizard would be the most valuable for this tide. The main Pokemons they would be dealing with would be grass type. Charizard being a fire type would deal the most amount of damage. It was only at uncommon rank but its power should not be underestimated. It had improved a lot in these 2 months.

Finally, Gogoat. He asked Gogoat if it would participate in the tide and it had agreed. He didn't know why it had not accepted him as his Pokemon. He felt that he was getting closer to it with the passage of time. He decided to tell Gogoat his plans and it would decide where it wanted to fight in the tide.

Only 10 days were left. So his Pokemon could not improve much. However, there was one thing that they could improve that would help them a lot in the tide.

It was stamina.

Pokemon tide was a war, not a battle. They may have to battle for hours and days before they get any rest. So, stamina was the most valuable at that time. Axel didn't want to brag, but his Pokemons had good stamina compared to others. But he still wanted them to improve on it.

First, he sent Absol and Tauros to Oak's laboratory. Then he took out all of his Pokemons in the training field.

"All of you must know what we are going to face in 10 days. We would be facing a Pokemon tide. None of us has any experience with it. However, we know that it would be a war and we would need a good amount of stamina.

So, for these 10 days, we would be training on stamina only. We would train for 9 days and you would have a rest of 1 day before the tide.

Marcus come over here", said Axel, and Shedinja came near him

"For 9 days, Marcus would use 'Gravity' against all of you. You would be training with your moves under the effect of gravity. Marcus don't hold back on Gravity.

Remember even if you get tired, try to surpass your limit. Rest is also important so take a good amount of rest. I have bought a lot of potions, so if any of you need it, come to me."

Axel did this for 2 reasons. First was to increase the stamina of his Pokemons. He knew that 9 days of training was not enough but it was better than nothing.

Second was to increase the move mastery of 'Gravity'. Axel realized that when a move mastery reaches 'Good', it would be extremely difficult to improve. 'Gravity' was in the 'Good' stage so using the move continuously for 9 days would improve its mastery.

The move would also be valuable while fighting against flying-type Pokemons. Axel would not let Shedinja fight a flying type head-on as it was one of the weaknesses of Shedinja but it could disrupt flying-type Pokemons from a distance.

Giving instructions to his Pokemons he went inside his office. His Pokemons were now intelligent enough to train themselves. Axel went to meditate and practice his aura. He knew that his aura meditating would be helpful during the time of tide. He may not have much time to do this after the tide breaks out so he wanted to do it right now.

###

4 days have passed since then. Everything was going smoothly. His Pokemons were training as he had instructed. The teams had already been reformed and now the new teams were familiarizing.

The traps were still in process. It should be noted that the north base was huge. Even with such a large force, it was hard to complete all the traps within 3 days.

Hector had promised that it would be completed in the next 2 days. The information about the Pokemon that they would be facing had been compiled and sent to the respective soldiers as per their needs.

Axel was not having an easy time. He had to coordinate with his troops and correct their mistakes. Being a leader was not an easy job. He had managed to take ample rest. Rest was also a need during the time of war.

"Sir, the commander had called us for an emergency meeting.", said Sam with an urgent voice.

"Really? Do you know what it is about?"

"No sir. But since the commander called telling it was an emergency, it must be something important related to the tide."

"Alright. Call Tory. We are going immediately."
