"Tell me, you had a problem, wasn't it?"
Mathew's teacher asked a question about him with a straight face and her face was laying at her fist as she was sitting at a chair next to her desk in the office room.
Mathew had been a rough day and he himself could not explain what just literally happened.
In just a few minutes of his nap at the bus, it's like an hour inside the world that has full of mystery. It was confusing that he felt like almost dying and seeing a girl like she teleported. It's still unknown the reason, but that girl before mentioned the word...
(...Magic. How can it's real?)
He was on his mind with his eye downcast, instead of looking at his teacher's eyes.
"Are you being bullied?" She asked, and continued. "You were spacing out lately."
"Eh...?"
Finally, Mathew responded and he immediately pulled his head like it was on the ground floor. Turning his head at his teacher and answering the answer.
"Ahhh... I'm just maybe tired, hehe. I probably needed to go at infirmary."
With wearing his fake smile. He casually lied as he was also saying the truth.
He was indeed tired, sleeping for only 2.5 hours wasn't enough for his body and brain. But that was not the case here for Mathew. As he was confused about before, he could not say to his teacher about that, it may also cause more confusion.
"Do you have any more to say?"
"Err..."
Mathew apparently couldn't go any further. His leg was shaking like noodles and his one hand was grabbing the same desk as his teacher.
"That's not it..."
"Uhmmm."
If Mathew paid attention before, he could be staying with his sister and eating lunch together. Well, it was his fault, to be honest. If he just fights his own thought, he could just go to the infirmary immediately and take a nap there.
Then Mathew decided to tell it to her... The truth that he wanted to tell.
"Uhmm. I don't know if you would believe in me "
His leg was trembling at this point, but he stopped it as he was embracing himself just to end this.
"Go ahead, and tell me. As your homeroom teacher, it's my job to understand each feeling of my students. It's normal to me."
She then drank the whole canned coffee next to her arm at the table.
"Ms. Collins..."
"Yes?"
"Weird things happened to me." He unclenched his hand and grabbed his chest as he was speaking. "But first, do you..." He paused in a second, then continued. "Believe in magic...?"
Ms. Collins was apparently shocked and surprised after she heard the word "magic". She appeared that she knew it in the first place. As her jaw dropped, she was about to speak, she swallowed her words and leaned back.
"Magic is just a mere fantasy made by children or someone who wanted to make beliefs Religions, apparently believed in it, but there's no evidence to prove that magic has existed. In the other words, it's just some people who wanted to believe in something that doesn't exist. Everything here was made by the laws of nature and based on scientific explanation."
Like she was saying. Every child wanted to be a superhero that has a strange power that doesn't need any psychic ability, it means they wanted to be different than others.
By doing it, it would also lead to more pride and confidence when doing things and feel proud of becoming a wizard or witch.
However, in some religions, especially in Europe. They had been killing witches since a century ago by burning them alive in the cross with many people watching them suffered in great pain and depression.
"Because I have been trapped in the black-and-white world with an unknown girl was standing in front of me. She then pierced her fingers with a needle and a blood dropped on the floor. But something weird just happened."
Her eyes were widened. Ms. Collins appeared so surprised and she was like trying to stop these kinds of conversation.
"Then a bright light—"
"—Stop right there."
Ms. Collins stopped him for some reason while Mathew was talking.
"You can just go to the infirmary. I will do your excuse letter in your next class. Just rest easy for a while. You may be hallucinating because of your lack of sleep."
Mathew looked at her eyes again and pouted, like he regrets something.
"Yes. I'll go now. Thank you for your concern, Ms. Collins."
He then left the office without making any noises.
Ms. Collins appeared to be shocked. She put his two arms at her desk and hid her face as she was like sweating like nervous.
"Magic? In here? No, that can't be right!"

As Mathew opened and closed the door. He then noticed his sister was waiting for him outside the room, standing with his bag she was wearing at her chest.
Apparently, she was annoyed by judging the look at her face as she was tapping her one foot on the floor repeatedly.
"Sure you were really tired and dreamed about something that could end up becoming a nightmare as you were daydreaming." She sighed. "Being angry at this point was useless. Here." Anais removed the bag on her chest and gave it to her sibling. "Sure you were tired. I also brought your lunchbox. I already out it at your bag."
Mathew looked exhausted, then smiled. "Thank you. Ms, Collins said that I should be resting at the infirmary. I might be unable to eat lunch with you. I'll go now, I supposed."
He grabbed the bag at his sister's arm and wore it at his back.
"Guess I'll walk you into infirmary then."
"I already know where it is. Also, you already had a friend, isn't it? Why don't you take lunch with them? It's much better."
Seemingly that Mathew was a bit sad and tired at some point. Like he was depressed on something that made him looked overworked as his back bent like a spoon.
Meanwhile, somewhere close at Mathew and Anais at the hall. There were two girls walking, one of them wearing a white jacket-like clothing that reached her ankle, and the sleeves were a bit widened. And another girl with her that has a black hair that reaches her half of her back.
But then, there's something a bit odd.
As Mathew turned his eyes at them, he immediately attacked by shock and fear.
He noticed it.
It was the same girl as before on the bus.
That girl has ashy-white hair and red eyes. It was her.
As she was walking with her friend it seemed. She turned her eyes and glanced Mathew was staring at her with a scared two eyes.
"Oh."
That girl has the same voice as the girl before on the bus.
Mathew was scared when she created a noise. But apparently, he wasn't panicking, he was instead fighting his fear and confronting it. It means he would likely face that girl he met before.
"Finally, found you."
Mathew was surprised after she said it with a positive smile.
That girl stopped in front of him as she was looking up at his eyes since she was small compare to the height of Mathew.
She was smiling and breathing the same air as he exhaling the air inside his lungs. It was weird. She's like a predator who was sexually attracted to the child. Like she was sniffing his own breath.
"Nice to meet you!" She said in a positive voice. She wearing her smile as her arm at her back. "We finally meet again."
Mathew was feeling scared until now. He can't just look so terrified with these three girls in the hall. There no option to do, and he can't run either, so instead he forcibly smiled. "Ummm... Hello?"
"Do you know him, Cate?" Asked her friend beside her.
This girl named Cate turned her head towards her friend. "Yes. We know each other since decades ago."
"What...?!" Mathew startled. "Decades? I don't even kno—"
"Ahh! I need to talk to you! Alone..." At the end of her words, she grabbed his hand immediately as Matthew paused his word.
It was very odd that this girl that has the same appearance showed at this school like there's no problem. Cate suddenly talked with Mathew immediately as she noticed him in the hall as she knew him for a long time.
Well, she did mention that they haven't seen each other for decades. And of course, that made Mathew confused since it was their second time meeting each other.
What would happen to him later?
"Wait wait wait!" Anais pushed Cate back on her small chest. "You looked creepy! What my brother did to you like you were so obsessed with him?" She then crossed her arm at her chest that slightly bigger than her.
"Hmmm? Are you jealous of asking him to go out with me?" She said without thinking twice and wore her mockingly smile.
"Huh?! Why the hell should I jealous about? You just met him once, and Mathew himself can't even talk to a girl like you?!"
And then, it became a whole mess. Cate and Anais were looked mad. Fighting for a guy like Mathew, like it was being fantasized by many men in the world, but he himself was confused. He was supposed to be running away from her, but now, he can't. He can't do anything here but watch. He was not the kind of person who would stop people that fighting each other. He maybe feels it's better to be silent in this atmosphere than to get involved.
"By the way, we have something to talk about. It was important." Cate then grabbed his hand and walked away with him.
"H-hey! Who are you exactly?" Asked Mathew.
"That's why I'm bringing you somewhere with less people." Cate looked at her friend as she left her with Anais. "Sorry, Livia! I just need to talk to him alone. It was important!"
They turned their way upstairs as they were both holding hands.
"What just happened?" Asked Anais in confusion. "He needs to go in infirmary..."
Now they both far on Mathew and Anais. Holding hands together as they walk has a different meanings, but this time was different. They themselves could not understand what was really happened both of them.
"I...I'm confused oo, hehe. Sorry about my friend." She scratched her head for some reason. "I don't know what Cate would do today. But anyway, My name is Livia Rose, nice to meet you!"
"Ahh, Anais! Anais Servillia! My brother's name was Mathew. Also were twins."
Livia was surprised. "Wow! That is why you both were looked alike!" Then she added. "Oh, wanna hang out for a bit?"
