The Vasuki Royal Palace had different palaces for different purposes. And according to the royal protocol, there needed to be separate palaces for the Nagaraja and Sarparaja.
Nagaraja invited Sarparaja to his palace most nights. In fact, the practice was mostly outdated. Sarparaja Tanay lived with his husband almost every night. It was only when he needed calmness and solace that he would return to Lotus Palace, his chambers.
