For some reason, Dave felt that he would not be able to forgive himself if Dita was injured, or even died in this place. In his heart, Dave felt that he wanted to protect Dita more than he wanted to protect himself. As if he doesn't matter how many drops of blood he has to flow out of his body, as long as he can protect her.
Even though Dita is nothing to him, just an annoying woman who has all the traits Dave hates. Even Dave already has someone who will be engaged to him.
And it seems like it will continue to bother Dave's mind for the future. He didn't want to be an asshole who gave his heart to more than one woman, but Dave couldn't lie to how he felt now either.
